All of the poi are just randomly generated same stuff on every planet. Morrowind, oblivion, skyrim, fallout 3, and even fallout 4 had curated locations that made the setting feel alive and interesting. In starfield you have to go through multiple loading screens before you even get to explore and by the time you do, you realize it’s all just procedurally generated and has no point. Hey if you like the game I am happy for you but almost all bgs games are good without dlc… the main game is supposed to get me excited for upcoming dlc, not hope for it to complete an unfinished game lol

I was about to download Starfield again before I watched this. Thank you for saving my time 🙏 This game could be soo good if they actually made an effort
Doing the temples is completely optional outside of the first temple. The temples only suck ass if you force yourself to do them over and over and over back to back. If you just do the temples as you naturally come across them (not talking to Vladimir) Its just a side objective to pursue on your own time. Just relax and do what seems fun when you play this game and you will have fun.
I play vast amounts of Starfield (1500+ hrs .. Yes 1500) because there is not much else about that suits my rigid tastes of single player RPG. My all time favourite game being RDR2, to give some idea. My main issue with Starfield on my Xbox Series S is that it is horribly unstable and often ludicrous. For example, I presently cannot finish the Ruyjin quest because … Whilst I can enter the correct building in New Atlantis .. it will NOT LET ME OUT!!! No joke, it just crashes, every single time. Plus … I cannot really go to the Well, it will not let me out of the elevators. Plus .. I cannot go to Akilah City, it will not even let me land … If I do manage to get there I can enter but never leave the Rock or the Trackers Alliance Plus .. Every time I go to Cydonia … it crashes as I attempt to enter or leave. Plus … There are various bugs stopping various small side quests working, such as collecting DNA for the Cydonia Terra Morph Lab. 99/100 of the time the game will not allow me to exit save. I lost my first 560 hrs play because of that I cannot get onto Va'ruun Kai without it crashing 9 out of 10 attempts. Then within 5 minutes it'll crash anyway … I CANNOT complete the Duel quest at all for crashing. *_Bethesda on it's own site KNOWS this is an issue on Xbox Series … Their major answer? ….. "Err, turn your internet off it'll help a bit."_* Seriously? .. Yeah, we'll fix it sometime when we can be bothered …. Apparently
i still hope they continue improve the game expand soem gamesystem and improve current gamesystem. I realy hope they have long term plans to do this so the game gets better and better and at some point is close to the game we all have hoped for
I was 60+ hour's into Cyberpunk 2077 and recently started playing Starfield due to the latest patch fixing a bugged quest i was on. Im now not wanting to play Cyberpunk because im so hucked again. The game is such a chill i love it and if i was stuck on a gaming desert island 🏝️ and could have the one or the other im choosing Starfield. So it's certainly a good game to many and far from boaring
This has made exploration alot better cus its certainly more fun exploring with a car than it is hopping around like a idiot but i still don't find the game fun since its mainly just sitting in loading screens and i dont find much of the quests / world interesting. like it really just makes me want to go and play no mans sky / fallout 4 again whenever i try to play it. ill admit its getting better but i dont think they are gonna be able to fix the game to the point ill actuly want to play it for longer than a few hours. Like i just cant see them fixing the loading screen bombardment the game is littered with and they cant fix how bad the main quest is. I just dont understand how no mans sky can do seamless plant to plant travle in 2014 yet this game released only a year ago needs to load just to enter the ship then take off then travel to the space around a planet then to land on the planet and then to exit the ship. to go from 1 planet to another is almost 5 load screens and even on my super fast ssd it still takes longer than i would like.
Even Star Citizen allows seamless travel to planets. Personally, I'd be more happier if a future update completely overhauls the Creation Engine 2 to allow seamless planetary travel without loading screens and most importantly, more interesting planets, sidequests, POI, etc. Although, a little female fanservice/eye candy also wouldn't hurt.
I never had an issue with starfield beyond the fps rates until the newer uodates. I think everyone thought it was going to be this game that was like a nms/starfield baby, and i knew from the get go it was going to be a textbook bethesda game in space and i had no disappointments
Not saying Starfield is good, it's just ok, but ok I think is still better than what Elder Scrolls Online and Fallout 76 was at launch. So... progress? Lol XD
7:17 the main story doesnt require you to do the 24 temples, only the first one is mandatory. If you skip the main quest on NG+, you get a much shorter quest and 0 temple is mandatory.
I might get flake/stones thrown at me but I genuinely feel like starfield has Potential, sure there might be the grim reality bethesda never polishes this rough game to the standard of Cyberpunk, but I still have hope! What I find fun in the game for me, is essentially trying to mimic a satisfactory playstyle as well as do niche missions, and my adhd tendencies have not let me complete shattered space yet, I give this opinion in due part of basis that this is Bethesda's new universe and franchise, and I know some devs have been rude to some interviews but aside from that I give Starfield a wide berth of hopefulness since its a new franchise and who knows we might get Starfield II haha (Being satirical here pls dont hurt me) overally, i stand with my personal rating of a 7/10, pretty alright and I LOVE the details of the food items and whatnot.
It’s not bad with the 60FPS mode it’s actually not a terrible game I caught myself giving it a chance recently again after I didn’t play it after launch it’s not bad I don’t know what people expect from this game the ones that complain I have the series X and it’s a great on there in my opinion
The matter of the value of Starfield really just depends on what it is you're looking to get out of the game and what your expectations were. If you were looking at it from a sandbox story and RPG perspective? It's not bad. If you're looking at it in relationship to past Bethesda games? You might be slightly disappointed, in that it doesn't seem to be as detailed or quite as lore heavy as past games. Namely when it comes to NPC schedules and the things that they do for that extra immersion. They don't set up and close shop, walk back home, turn a stew on the stove/ fire etc. The story feels a little overused, in that it's pretty much just the reclone of the Dragonborn. But it's sandboxy and fun enough. However, where it starts to encroach on weird territory? Is when you begin to examine it from the "space game" perspective, and attracting that whole community. Namely? The space simmers, of whom are going to be sorely disappointed. You have no control over your ship, when it comes to traveling from system to system, planet to planet, station to station... and you don't take off or land. Yet? It does enough to almost instill a false sense of these features being there, as, at face value? It would almost seem logical for it to. The fact of the matter is? There's really not a lot to do in space. It's kind of even hard to find reliable combat in space. Sometimes . No cargo hauling, no space mining, no space walking... For theae people, it was a flat tire moment. Like, " Oh...never mind." Bethesda definitely does not have an easy job. The game overlaps enough areas, as to leave you wanting more, all matter of perspective. Even story, NPC...romance. Even character alignment. What's the saying? "Jack of all trades and Master of none?" I mean, look at this whole land-based vehicle/rover thing. Were it not for the space gamers community? I feel like it wouldn't have even been introduced because classic Bethesda gamers are used to the hybrid walking simulator concept. I don't recall ever using a horse in Morrowind. I don't even think they were in there. I want to say that it wasn't until Oblivion.
Fair comment and quite accurate about old Bethesda games fans and space simmers, I'm in both categories. Regarding Morrowind, yeah I'm pretty sure there were no mounts, even though the game introduced guars as fulfilling that role, and IIRC you even encounter saddled guars in the game, but I don't think this can be used as an argument because the game gives you so many travel means that are organic and immersive, you can use mark/recall spells, you can use Almsivi intervention spells, you can boost your acrobatics and do Superman jumps, you can levitate, you can use slit striders or use teleporting platforms from the mage guilds and even if you ignore all of that and just go full walking simulator, it still felt good because often times you'd actually have to find your destination based on real indications with no map marker. Long story short, Morrowind design worked perfectly for the game setting and mechanics, not Starfield.
Asmon lost 40 minutes? I literally lost 80 hours since the game only puts 100 (of your oldest) saves on Steam cloud. Had to reset my PC, came back to play and I was only 30 hours in to my current 110 playthrough. I lost 80 hours... I was looking forward into playing the DLC but now I don't want to. I don't want to have to re-play the whole game again.
since i had early access for starfield, i was able to play the story and explore the rest, it was awful and was able to refund it before it launched and never came to the idea to buy it again lol. game basically has nothing that catches you, cyberpunk & skyrim still the best open world rpgs imo
pony boy haters r gonna hate. ANd this wanker is one of the worst, he got the buggy and immediately took his max size class C ship to the smallest confined landing field and wondered why his buggy spawned in a wall. Notice he did show it where he bought it which wouldve been at one of the larger enclosed ports, an when he did show it he showned it bugged which my series X hasnt done yet. Maybe the pony is playing on a 30 year old PC which cant run starfield, Maybe hes got a illegal mod for his PS to play it and thats why its screwing up. All that assside his buggy in the wall was his fault an im betting he did it on purpose to shit on starfield!
I will never understand how people find glitch after glitch after glitch after glitch with things ive never had a single issue with. Its like the glitches just gravitate directly to anyone thats most prone to making a big deal of them.
I had one yesterday where all planet models had text saying "you shouldn't be seeing this" Sound glitch today with constant bullet audio. NPC still getting stuck in the environment. It truly is a Bethesda game 😂
I would press the button that just erases emil from the timeline ... I guarantee the moment it happen, Skyrim would magically split into about 3 or 4 genuinely good Elder Scrolls spinoffs, each one focused on a particular race and particular location. My favourite would have been Allthall , Contienent of Champions basically the island is a huge fucking Gladiator battle arena filled with "throw aways", or maybe Just orcs , or maybe just like rule breakers anyways it would tie into the High Elfs story where they fix up crystal balls to allow essentially "Pay Per View" , and people from all over the skyrim planet join and watch.
Part of Allthall would be you breaking out of Gladiator battle either by conquest, or cunning only to be met with High elves who specialize in both of those things , wacky interactions abound
I mean what I always tell people it's fallout in space don't except no man's sky or star citizen. If you go into starfield as a fallout game it's alright not the best but just alright.
I will admit Starfield is pretty much objectively worse than F4, or ES5. But despite that, it still provides a certain type of game that really no other game does. And I have 400 hours into it, and "with mods" I'm still enjoying every minute. It's a platform. For people like us to build on. To me all Bethesda games have been nothing but platforms. Some are less stable/impressive than others, but so long as they are a clay that is moldable by modders, they serve their purpose. What other game does that on this level? I don't WANT Bethesda games to update to modern graphics or modern techniques. Because it will make it that much more difficult for modders to work their magic. And THEY are what makes EVERY Bethesda game to me. With Starfield itself, I understand why it falls short. It had two writers. Look into it. *Two* in-house Bethesda writers worked on Starfield. Bethesda is still fully capable of making a Skyrim, or maybe even a new Vegas. The people who made those games are still there. It's just a matter of DIRECTION, and Influence. It's a matter of community feedback being loud, and unified. And to me, the fact that I know the talent is still there, gives me hope. As oppose to a company like 343 industries. Who replace over half their staff every single halo game. With the last of the Bungie OG's being fired in 2013 with Marty O'Donnell. Meanwhile the guy who was corporatizing Bungie in 2007 before being pushed out by it's original founders, is now the CEO of Bungie. (Monsieur, Pete Parsons) So long as Bethesda games remain a platform for people who can freely express their passion with mods, I will continue to love the games they make. (Except for 76. You can't mod that mess of a game..... Atleast it's fun with friends.) But that's not what I play Bethesda games for. Leave me alone, let me make my female companions busty (even though I'm gay, I do it anyways), let me make my dragon a into macho man, and let me turn my new Atlantis UC guards into stormtroopers so I can pretend Lukas Games actually made a good star wars game since 2005.
Well, considering there is still game breaking bugs littered throughout it, the additional content really means fuck all. But i suppose one shouldnt be surprised by bethesda a todd howard doing the usual sub-par routine....

Love the game and can’t wait for the dlc
Do you need a xbox gamepass to play starfield? If i was to purchase the game at full price. Do i need a subscription to play?
With mods like "nasapunk2330", "no ennemy on compass", "starvival" (with all add-ons infirmery, spaceship utilities etc), this game is becoming very good.
I was about to download Starfield again before I watched this. Thank you for saving my time 🙏
This game could be soo good if they actually made an effort
Doing the temples is completely optional outside of the first temple. The temples only suck ass if you force yourself to do them over and over and over back to back. If you just do the temples as you naturally come across them (not talking to Vladimir) Its just a side objective to pursue on your own time.
Just relax and do what seems fun when you play this game and you will have fun.
Great advice.
That's true lol
You can also levitate with the buggy when pressing space.
3:10 as a halo player I take offense to that 😂
Really like your armor. What’s it called?
Plus .. I cannot go to Akilah City, it will not even let me land … If I do manage to get there I can enter but never leave the Rock or the Trackers Alliance
Plus .. Every time I go to Cydonia … it crashes as I attempt to enter or leave.
Plus … There are various bugs stopping various small side quests working, such as collecting DNA for the Cydonia Terra Morph Lab.
99/100 of the time the game will not allow me to exit save. I lost my first 560 hrs play because of that
I cannot get onto Va'ruun Kai without it crashing 9 out of 10 attempts. Then within 5 minutes it'll crash anyway … I CANNOT complete the Duel quest at all for crashing.
*_Bethesda on it's own site KNOWS this is an issue on Xbox Series … Their major answer? ….. "Err, turn your internet off it'll help a bit."_*
Seriously? .. Yeah, we'll fix it sometime when we can be bothered …. Apparently
call me crazy why tf does his character look like the mandalorian
It's a mod.
@@dtube441 ok how am I supposed know that
@@LTK2.0 lol I wasn't being funny I was just getting to the point
i still hope they continue improve the game expand soem gamesystem and improve current gamesystem.
So immersive, such wow.
I think it's as fun as the outer worlds, even though the story isn't as well written.
Can I play without game pass? Plz tell me if you know ❤️
I never had an issue with starfield beyond the fps rates until the newer uodates.
I was just exaggerating. But to me it feels more like 40. I’ve still not finished them all that’s how bored I got with them 😢
I might get flake/stones thrown at me but I genuinely feel like starfield has Potential, sure there might be the grim reality bethesda never polishes this rough game to the standard of Cyberpunk, but I still have hope!
Where do you get the Mandalorin Character from?
It’s not bad with the 60FPS mode it’s actually not a terrible game I caught myself giving it a chance recently again after I didn’t play it after launch it’s not bad I don’t know what people expect from this game the ones that complain I have the series X and it’s a great on there in my opinion
Looks like Bethesda didn't call it buggy for no reason...
Like, " Oh...never mind."
Bethesda definitely does not have an easy job. The game overlaps enough areas, as to leave you wanting more, all matter of perspective. Even story, NPC...romance. Even character alignment. What's the saying? "Jack of all trades and Master of none?"
I mean, look at this whole land-based vehicle/rover thing.
Love the narration 😂😂😂 #Hilarious
It’s 2024, I’m surprised Bethesda hasn’t figured out how to patch the loading screen issue
I played for around 250 hours and loved it but I don't think this is enough to draw me back in. Maybe in another year.
Remember when u used to advertise 360s even tho they was long dead

Been a long time since i did TH-cam as a business & studied the algo's.
I always wait a year after release to play any Bethesda game
Now, they need to fix this "invisible" cap on how many mods we can have. 😑🙄😒🤦♂️😪🤣
Every update I hope for a fix so I can complete the ryujin questline. Still no operative to be found ...🤷♀️

Boosteroid's reliability and performance are unmatched
He didn't deserve that shotgun shell to the dome 😭🤣
😂😂
since i had early access for starfield, i was able to play the story and explore the rest, it was awful and was able to refund it before it launched and never came to the idea to buy it again lol.
game basically has nothing that catches you, cyberpunk & skyrim still the best open world rpgs imo
It is much better now but still far from perfect
Don't load it on SSD cards like they said and it will work. Also you cannot run it on a 65' bigscreen tv.
Starfield was always fun
I love the game. I get why everyone hates it. I really really do but I like the relaxing (boring) game play. Sue me.
When the game allows PC mods on console, it will flourish like Skyrim V.
It does lol
I personally love starield on Xbox series x❤
Same here… the haters are just insufferable at this point. It’s not a bad game
pony boy haters r gonna hate.
@@domymbd do you remember skyrim when that first came out? It got the same hate

Loved the first playthrough, until I lost everything. The new game plus mechanic feels more punishing than rewarding.
this is the best game bethesda has ever made
This game is GREAT!!! if you enjoy wasting 70$ and 120gb of storage. If you want to play a space game just get NMS ffs
Main quest still sucks. So no, not worth wasting time with.
Main quest is still terrible but the side missions are good

Yes I think so. Make sure to backup your gamesave
I will never understand how people find glitch after glitch after glitch after glitch with things ive never had a single issue with. Its like the glitches just gravitate directly to anyone thats most prone to making a big deal of them.
I guess it's just sheer luck.
I had one yesterday where all planet models had text saying "you shouldn't be seeing this"
Sound glitch today with constant bullet audio.
NPC still getting stuck in the environment.
It truly is a Bethesda game 😂
Absolutely not. First thing I would do if I had billions of dollars would be to buy Bethesda and fire Todd Howard.
So Emil can stay then?
If that's the first thing you would do if you had billions of dollars, then you're no better than Todd lol
@@captainawf2341 well it’s not the first thing I would do, but it would be on my list
They're going to have to do more than add a vehicle. Should have been there @ launch, or @ least much sooner. No Man's Sky ftw.
Prob will take another year for anything else remotely decent
yeah, because no mans sky was amazing at launch /s
I mean what I always tell people it's fallout in space don't except no man's sky or star citizen. If you go into starfield as a fallout game it's alright not the best but just alright.
This was tooooo funny. A hard pass for me. Thank you for saving me from uninstalling it fwice. Got a like and a sub.
Thanks man! Means a lot
IT JUST WORKS!
Boosteroid has really taken my gaming experience to the next level
I love it still and haven't even hit new game yet.
(Monsieur, Pete Parsons)
So long as Bethesda games remain a platform for people who can freely express their passion with mods, I will continue to love the games they make.
(Except for 76. You can't mod that mess of a game..... Atleast it's fun with friends.)
But that's not what I play Bethesda games for.
Leave me alone, let me make my female companions busty (even though I'm gay, I do it anyways), let me make my dragon a into macho man, and let me turn my new Atlantis UC guards into stormtroopers so I can pretend Lukas Games actually made a good star wars game since 2005.
....3:32... He turned Starfield into GTA-6
Well, considering there is still game breaking bugs littered throughout it, the additional content really means fuck all.
But i suppose one shouldnt be surprised by bethesda a todd howard doing the usual sub-par routine....
I'll wait until it's on sale lol
honestly i was so hype for this game to release but upon playing it i barely made it into the story and it just lost me and i havent played it since. it saddens me that when i see videos of starfield it just doesnt even capture my attention because i was so hype for it to come out but when it did i feel like i and a lot of other people were let down
I really loved Fallout 4. It was one of the best games I have ever played, so I had really high hopes for this game. I played it shortly after release, then ditched it for obvious reasons. Now I think I just have to realise - this game is never gonna be a good game. Bethesda simply fucked up.😢
This can never be good, they would need to remake it from scratch.
