Yup! Khali got around 19fd in the Ride or Die patch. The run is actually unoptimized too, since I could have shaved over a minute in this run if I had saved Origin for P2 (to fit in 2 Origins in P2) instead of using it in P1.
I've spent a lot of time in Dojo really early on in my time with the class and ended up getting a lot of passive practice just from doing my weekly bosses. Learning things more correctly from the beginning is so much easier than having to break down bad habits later on where your muscle memory is more of a detriment than a boon. If I had to give any advice, just focus on accuracy and clean inputs even if you have to play a bit slower. Speed comes with time but precision often doesn't.
@@PurpleIgris Tysm for the advice! i was absolutely going to do most of it but the focusing on slower gameplay with cleaner inputs was a good frame for my idea of practice. appreciate it a ton! :D
hi, great run!! :) can i ask which combos you usually default to and how you cancel the animations (in terms of inputs)? such as from 1:25 to 1:32 and 4:05 to 4:10? thank you!!
Hey, the way I see Khali and her inputs is that she has a bunch of two-punch combos that you are just linking together, with those being: Hex -> Blitz/Rush (Jump Cancel) Crescentum -> Blitz Flurry -> Blitz Hex -> Blitz should be used to start combos when Blitz is up, otherwise you just Rush Jump Cancel it. Crescentum -> Blitz is used in between Hex -> Rush in order to spawn Chakri in between Hexes while also refreshing Rushes in case Hexes keep CD skipping. Flurry -> Blitz is used when all the other Hexes are on CD or in order to spawn some Chakri before a Sweep. I have this flowchart that I made for the Khali discord that encapsulates my general thought process for comboing imgur.com/a/jDVtfjY. RJC = Rush Jump Cancel, Rush by itself = Positioning/Avoid Attacks In 1:25-1:32 I Flurry Blitz -> Split RJC -> Pande RJC -> Cresc Blitz -> Split RJC -> Rush -> Cresc Blitz -> Rush -> Fury RJC -> Fury RJC -> Flurry Blitz -> Rushes -> Sweep RJC -> Cresc Blitz In 4:05-4:10 I Split -> Flurry Blitz -> Flurry Rush (Didn't actually spawn any Chakri lol) -> Sweep RJC -> Rush -> Cresc Blitz -> Rush -> Fury RJC -> Fury Typing it out like this is definitely way more crazy looking than it actually is when you're playing and using muscle memory. If I missed anything or you have any other questions I'm happy to answer them. PS: Big fan, had to do a bit of a double take when I saw your comment. Also didn't know if you wanted a long response like this but I wanted to be thorough.
Damn legit you are one of the better players I've seen!! Good job man!
Khali got any buffs or something?11 minutes unlibbed is insane
