Having been to both I feel Paris 2024 beat all previous host cities, not by ceremonies but by the overall games. They built iconic venues, pavillions for people who could not by tickets, workshops for tourists, champion's park hospitality centres with great food and not forgetting the first ever public marathon and women's marathon. The level of innovation and opportunities in Paris 2024 for vistors and spectators as well as the spotlight on athletes through the Trocadero were unbeatable.
