To clarify the end credits: In Season 1 Yuta is mentioned several times and is stated to currently be "doing missions overseas". When Gojo leaves Season 1 right before the Exchange Event/Tournament for a "business trip overseas", he was actually visiting Yuta and Miguel. Also Miguel was never really a bad guy or an accomplice of Geto, I think he was simply hired for a job during the Night Parade (to distract Gojo with his special cursed ropes) but then got his butt WHOOPED and probably made a deal afterwards to help them.

For the right price maybe even Mei would’ve teamed up with Geto, unless she was too scared of fighting Gojo. As far as we know Miguel’s job was to simply stall him for a bit with the ropes.

Geto was basically trying to make Gojo doubt his own identity by asking whether or not it was his personality and abilities that drove him to become the strongest sorcerer, or did being the strongest simply change his personality. The name “Gojo Satoru” also implies that he is a powerful sorcerer from one of the 3 noble clans; the Gojo clan, and he also has his OP Limitless Technique.
Okkotsu was the protagonist before itadori. In season 1 Okkotsu’s name was mentioned several times and each time they had given the respect he deserves.
This is a prequel. The author, Gege Akutami, wasn't sure who the main character was going to be on the onset of the series. The original intention was to have Yuta be the main character. Obviously Gege decided to have Yuji be the main character. However, they wanted to keep Yuta's overpowered character in the story. Gege told this story first, and then opted for Jujitsu Kaisen to start shortly after. That post credit scene is the one time Gojo left in the main story. Specifically it is when the special grade was in the detection center. Gojo went to find Yuta to tell him things we have yet to learn.
The wepon that geto used againt Yuta is actually a Three section staff . And its also the one maki and todo used in season one, the wepons name is Playful cloud if i remember. And when maki first used it last season she said she feels dirty using it because it was the same wepon geto used to beat her up in this movie. Its crazy how in this show literall wepons have their own lore to them.
Few things to know: 1) Season 2 will be released this year in July. The trailer is out now for it 2) JJK 0 takes place a year before Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara 3) Geto actually did die by Gojo at the end if you’re wondering why he’s in season 1 (Wait until season 2 for more answers. That was due to Yuta. Maki says "That was after he broke Rika's curse..." We also see Yuta and Miguel in second opening. Once Geto said in S1 that it'll be troublesome if someone from Jujutsu high saw him. Cuz yk he was banished. When Todo was introduced... Fushiguro said "That Todo... who exorcized lots of curses when The night parade of hundred demons came to Kyoto". Which we see here. Then Nanami's consecutive 4 black flash record was shown here. The 3 staffed weapon = Playful cloud was originally Geto's weapon. Hence in S1 against Hanami when Maki was going to use it she said "Although this feels disgusting to use..." Cuz it was Geto's weapon lol. Gojo was away quite a few times during S1 like when Itadori and all were fighting the special grade in the juvenile centre and Sukuna took control over him. Then even when Fushiguro was worried about his sister dying he called Ijichi to have sorcerers protecting her and Ijichi said that Gojo is out. Means Gojo went out to meet Yuta as seen in post credit scene.

While Itadori Yuji has great physical strength, but less cursed energy; Okkotsu Yuta has great amounts of cursed Energy but less physical strength. And ofcourse, there is a huge similarity to both protagonists. They are strongly linked to a special grade curse. Love how Gojo in episode 3 told Yuji "Don't let Sukuna out." and in this movie, he told Yuta "Don't let Rika out."

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a prequel to Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1. Now that you’ve seen this movie if you go back to season 1 you can catch references to the events of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 which takes a year before season 1 in 2018. Yuta even gets mentioned several times and you see glimpses of him but they just call him by his last name Okkotsu.
The last part where gojo speak to geto about something they didn't put an sound on because it's a spoiler, gojo said sorry cause he let the girl died & he's sorry for everything.

Let me give you some persepective on how strong a special grade sorcerer is (without spoilers obviously) so you guys understand how strong people at that level are : First grade is usually the highest ranking for sorcerers but there are very rare cases when people transcend that level, the main reason for that is their cursed technique being extremely powerfull. First grade sorcerers like Toudou, Nanami and Noritoshi Kamo (blood manipulation guy) are strong enough to defeat first grade curses no problem but to defeat a SINLGLE special grade curse it needs MULTIPLE first grade sorcerers and most of them will for sure die in that fight, that being said a special grade sorcerer can fight MULTIPLE special grade curses at the same time by himself. Here's a little more perspective, the moment Megumi learned domain expansion (the absolute peak of sorcery that almost nobody achieves) he became so strong that he surpassed 80% of the sorceres in his time to the point that even first grade sorcerers like Toudou and Nanami STAND NO CHANCE against him, so you can consider Megumi like a top elite first grade sorcerer BUT even at that level a single special grade sorcerer can fight and defeat AT LEAST 5 sorcerers of Megumi's level at the same time and win hell if you bring 10 of that level they might be a challenge. That's why special grade is called that way because it's rare so being of that level are considered "anomalies".

this is actually wrong. It is stated in the manga and the anime that the rankings are a bit off. Grade 4 Sorcerers usually can take up to 1 rank above, so Grade 3 curse. and so on. 1st grade sorcerers can take on the very basic special grade curses usually, but obviousl they still take 1st grade missions cuz theres not enough people. With that being said Special grade sorcerers are past that. they can take on multiple special grade curses like you said, even disaster curses, but then theres the excepetional special grades like Sukuna, Kenjaku, etc as an exception
*I think you misunderstand the timelines between Yuta and Itadori, in this movie Itadori does not become Sukuna yet. So Itadori won’t show up in this movie, because Yuta is MC in this movie. It’s like a prequel introduction for how they always mentioned of Yuta in season 1*
this is the previous school yr to the shows time as maki and the gang r first yrs in the film and second yrs in the first season and in season 2 (coming this yr) it looks like it will be about gojo and geto when they were at jujutsu high. also if u love clean fights i beg u watch naruto the fights r the best in any anime its the og of smooth fight scenes and heart wrenching story
