No, no mod but I add external effects to the sound while I record it into FL Studio. I used Valhalla Shimmer, Valhalla Delay and Soundtoys Crystallizer in this video.

Good question, I'm not sure but I enjoy these kind of arps too. Reminds me of early trance and chill out music from that era.
