Can't believe how positive he is with his story of his dad. Hope he did well and stayed that way, optimistic and idealistic. Great doc, thanks for posting king..
This is how I grew up, in the 70's. This was totally normal. You'd never know this was ugly, or ghetto, until you leave the city, and travel elsewhere. For me, this was all I knew.
Wow Crane this is awesome interview I had a chance to see the young boy you were and I see the great man father, & good friend you are, thanks for sharing this beautiful interview with us all. Love & respect to you. Your Ex Vandals sista❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was born 1976, Gerard Ave South Bronx. Across Yankee stadium. This is how i rememebr the south bronx. Fun. Especially the block parties in the summer time. Then my dad said eff this and we moved to the north bronx of Gun hill...which was almost like the suburbs. Quiet. Italians, black, puerto ricans working class and we all knew each other. Then 1988, crack came...hasent been the same since
It’s sad because most of the young people are articulate, have a sense of love, family , friends, goals. The world they live in is what turns these good young people into the monsters society accuses the, of. I’m other words, don’t blame the youngsters, blame the environment. Note: did the main subject prophesied 9/11?
Goof around with your friends…. Classic one-liner at the end of the video… I’ll put my name on the train wherever the wheels of steel Can support that and keep it running rEal. Hey Hip-Hop don’t stop!!!
