An aggressively wholesome bond story to cap off her event story and transformation. Even though it's not necessary to do so this one feels best done with full context.

God, I love this bond story. I was squealing, kicking my feet, making silly happy noises and laughing the first time I read it. Definitely one of the absolute best bond stories out there.
Literally a 9.9 / 10 bond story, 0.1 of a point is docked because ShiftUp after over 2 years of relationship bait only allowed us to hug Rapi (Are we going to have to wait another 2 years for SSR Rapi #2 to finally get a kiss?).

@tavolori5760 Counterpoint : This keeps the Rapi cuck chair meme alive and I want our girl out of the chair already. 2 years and the main girl is still forced to watch her man hoe around and they've yet to give her a kiss (they could have ended the bond the same but with a small kiss at the end of the hug and it would have been perfect).

Knowing that Rapi went through so much pain, suffering, and misery in her life and seeing that, despite all that, she's able to smile like that and develop such a strong sense of love crushes my heart and makes me want to cry.
The first commander to ever survive longer then a few days. Who has done all he can for his nikkes and treated them like humans. She sees stability with him and a place to call her own.
Im a full growm man.....and this bond story still had me kicking my legs and gigling at this like gosh Rapi came a long way such a character development from the shy quiet one to the one who speaks up !! :)

You can definitely tell the way Commander feels about Rapi is so tender and thoughtful, it's not how we're used to seeing him with the others. He's always thinking of what she wants first and foremost, encouraging her to reach out for the things she desires. IT'S SO SWEET AAAAAAAAAHHH

Some people grumble that this bond doesn't have sex or whatever but honestly considering Rapi's character and how she is figuring herself out and growing as a person this is perfect honestly if it did have sex out of nowhere i feel it would be ShiftUp compromising their writing just for fanservice and playing into the memes that people always were talking about. So yeah this is one of my favorite bonds. Not against sex happening if it makes sense or is believable like Soda's bond stories are two of my faves but this here is really nice.

I think they did bang at the end it was just being subtle about it. Why else would the Commander's legs "ache."
I'm fine with them not banging on a date, but a kiss would have still been nice to see. We need to see it happen at some point and not have it take two years to happen.
And compared to the other girls, we hang out with the Counters a lot of the time, if not always. The other girls don't get that chance to hang out with us, the Commander outside of their own bonds, so... some of them would have to have their segs a bit quicker than our Rapipi.

Many I know of were legit disappointed that the end did not have anything spicy happen between the Commander and Rapi. But to be honest, the fact that she got something this sweet from start to finish, it offsets that greatly.
