When these monkeys are taken by the state they cannot be adopted out. They stay in the sanctuary until they are released into the wild and if they can't be released they stay at the sanctuary. For all we know she does interact with other monkeys when no one is there. He visits for a few hours. We have no idea what she does when he is not there. I do know she is conditioned to the sound of a boat so probably runs out whenever tourists approach with hopes of getting a handout. That could end up being a bad scenario one of these days.
