I love the Contorno Sensory glass. Has a shorter stem than a Zalto so fits in a dishwasher more easily and I’ve only broken one over 3 years. Great suggestions Agnese.
Great ideas in your video, thank you. The wine skins are a staple in my suitcase now whenever I travel. I think I will have to put this wine chiller on my Christmas list!
It is fun idea, but for my nose they are too intense, You rarely find the same intensity of aromas in the wine. 🍷 I usually like to suggest people simply smelling strawberries or lemon, or whatever they are cooking with to train their nose. But the aroma kit for sure is a lot of fun, and I have had great discussions because of these small bottles. 😊
Thanks for the gift idea !🎄 You just resolved my Christmas gift dilemma. Thank You and Happy Holidays. And as always: Enjoy the sunshine held together by water 🍷
Agnes, can you please recommend some books on Champagne? My husband and I are falling deeper and deeper into the Champagne rabbit hole and would love to educate us more on this topic. Thanks a lot for the great recommendations in the video!
Sure, on Champagne I have two books that are super important, at least for me: 1. Peter Liem “Champagne: The essential guide to Wines - it is super fun to read, a lot of information and high quality pictures. And most importantly it has the greatest maps of the region. Those are worth to be framed. 2. Essi Avellan and Tom Stevenson’s book “Champagne & Sparkling Wine - it is older, so maybe some information is not relevant anymore, but the depth and insight of the producers, regions is just epic! ✨
A fun and exciting collection of wine gifts!👏👏 Of course, if money were no object, the safe bet would be a bottle of Petrus, Haut Brion, DRC-RC, and Harlan Estates.😂🤣 In all seriousness, I think self-gifting is an even safer bet, particularly if it is shared! My dining companion and I decided to treat ourselves to 4 fancy (for us, anyways) Rieslings from Nahe and Wachau as well as a fancy GV and Napa Cab.😄😁
I think You brought up very good point - we should never forget to get a gift for ourselves as well. Yes, I like that very much. 🙏🏻 Happy and joyful Holiday season 🥂
Okay my tip is the thing that a good friend of mine did. So she knew a couple of the wine sellers in our city that I frequented because I often brought a nice bottle and told her I bought this at this place. So for my birthday she visited those places, presented them with a picture of me on her phone and asked the staff hey do you know this person and when they said yes, she asked what wine do you think he'd like that he'd never bought at this place before.
Good list in general, but not sure about wine glasses are a gift. I want matching glasses for everyone being served the same wine, and break glasses often. I'd need at least 2 glasses the same, probably 4, and need to know where to order replacements. The glasses I use tend to me cheap, so my costs is cabinet space, not the actual glassware.

Yes, that wine glass has come up on several occasions as a great glass. And the argument for a shorter stem makes a lot of sense. Thank You. 🙏🏻

When in doubt, the gift of Champagne is never a bad choice!
True! 🥂 I am always happy for Champagne’
Another great gift idea is an aroma kit especially for those studying.

Cheval Blanc, Vega Sicilia, La Tache, or Petrus. Any one of these will be just fine, I'm not picky! 😀
Great list, where can I register? 🍷
Casual weekday wines
If it’s not a 1970, or (at a stretch) a 1990 Petrus, gifts are demeaning.
I love it!!! All ideas are super cool!!! Thanks for make this video..
Cheers! 🥂

I may get tempted by that wine chiller... nice idea
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Such a great Christmas 🎁⛄🎉 Wine 🍷 🍾🥂 video Agnese!
Thank You’ 🍇
What about the wine Iron maiden released? It's a Portuguese wine from the Douro region.
I haven’t tasted them, honestly. 😞

I'd prefer a Live After Death shirt, but that's me!
Sounds perfect! 👌

I got to use a saber in Champange last year. It was so cool.
I hope it was all safe! 🥂
@@NoSediment Yep. I did it as part of a tasting with Château Comtesse Lafond which is a Champagne house in Epernay.
Amazing 🎉🎉
🥂🥂🥂
4:06 According to the link in the description, your everyday wine glass is the Riedel Veritas Old World Syrah Glass, not New World Syrah.
Let me check that link, sometimes they do change. 🫡
Serious question. Can you use Prosecco to practice Sabrage? It would be fun to do....buuuuut not until I practice on something a lot less expensive. 👀
I have done, yes! But it should be full sparkling, not the frizzante style! 😊
I have been trying to find the 3D maps. Does anyone have a link for them?
I did order mine from Information Center in La Morra, Barolo!
@ is there a link to order them?

Ooo wow, sounds like You have a great friend’ love it! ✨
Trader Joe's gift card for Two Buck Chuck. I'm not a wine snob. 😊
👍👍👍👍😉

I completely understand, I also like to serve all the same glasses for my guests. 😎
Thank you Agnese, I'm going to send this video to my wife, ha ha
🤞🤞🤞
I have a Coravin. But I have to admit it's never been "months."
😎😎😎
Useful gifts! But for myself, it's much easier: Montrachet and Musigny!😂😂😂
Good to know! 😀
I'd love to try port tongs and live only a couple of kilometres from the closest hospital with an accident and emergency department...
You shouldn’t be too depressed! 😔
Live after death! 🥰
