How lucky were anyone who got to see him live, especially in a small environment like this one. Frightened Rabbit is one of the greatest bands of the last 20 years. Loved them/him from the first album. Now have them on vinyl. Classics. Will last the test of time. Deserves to be wider known.

I am so sad to learn that he has passed. This has been one of the songs that has meant the very most to me for well over 10 years. I’m thankful he wrote it and recorded it during his time in this earth. I’m hopeful his soul is at rest. Thank you Scott for helping me feel alive though your music.

The only good thing about the dark time that was 2020 was that I heard this band for the first time. Truly their songs were the most honest and raw words that I have ever heard and I will ever hear in my life. I spent nearly 10 years of my life with a gal, sharing things, massively influenced by and enjoying it with Scott and FR. He spoke about us, sung a song at a festival and gig in our presence, only to disappear. I don't want to say it was our downfall, but it certainly was a massive part of it. Now I'm left with an eternal love for Scott and what could have been.
I love you, dude. When I was in your presence, the world seemed like a lighter place. Your music will keep people going through so much more than you could ever imagine. Scott Hutchinson is my spirit animal.
No one will see this, on a wee small youtubers video, but that's okay. I've left plenty of comments just like this, on such videos. It's a kind of cathartic release. I don't dare talk to anyone about my feelings, so when I find videos from certain bands, Scott in particular, it feels good to vent.
If you do read this, before I delete it and go Floating in the Forth; find help. Don't ignore the small things. I can't say I'll be saved, but I hope you are. Cats are the most beautiful creatures.

You have no idea. I thought Robin Williams passing was hard but honestly I have been listening to him for 12 years now and he has always been able to make me confront my feelings instead of burying them deep down. He sings about things we have all felt but were unable to vocalize.
