I never see many talk about the various 'metals' that can be taking in to the lungs, until your video. The "heat-element" in a vape is clearly dispersing particulates as well. Just like how over time a kettle's heat-element releases particulates except in this case, our stomachs usually can handel this. But there is not much filtration going on when stuff like that, is going direct into the lungs. You would think there was some vape company out there thinking out of the box a bit more and adding earth magnets into the structure of the vape unit, to help draw from the oil, more of these particulates. Thanks for your Breathe Better workings!

I quit smoking for 5 months already and I still have brain fog that I can't think right so I don't know if it's because of cigarettes that did that

It’s hard to say, but congrats on quitting! That’s a huge accomplishment!

I smoked ever since 1995, I was 12. I tried to quit a NUMBER of times, with no success. I finally quit smoking, but by the help of vaping, I have been vaping now for 8 years. But I am in voice therapy now, and I am going to quit. I am going to get the no-nicotine E-Juice to help me at the beginning.

That’s a good idea. Nicotine is hard to get off of. Does your speech therapist think vaping had anything to do with your vocal cord issues?

@@BreatheBetterwithElizabeth No, it is all in my head. When I woke up from my coma in 2012, I asked my wife at the time where my artificial larynx was, because of the throat cancer I got in 1959. I was born in 1983!! 🤣 I thought that I was my father. She has me humming to warm up my vocal cords and using my incentive spirometer and the breather.

I used to manage a lot of younger employees who vaped. I didn’t allow them to do it inside. When they were new employees, they were shocked when I'd make them go outside. "But it's not a cigarette!" I didn't care. It smells weird. Something is off with that stuff. But manufacturers had been lying to them. They probably thought it was like drinking soda vs drinking alchohol, so why would their employer kick them outside to drink soda? But drinking soda, although of course bad for us too, doesn't affect everyone else in the room.

Yes, they are marketed as safe and not a big deal. And, they’re mostly marketed to children, teens, and young adults. It’s scary! I have children both in college and middle school. Both see peers vape!
