So if you are like me and press and hold info doesnt work... ...what they dont say is the screen behind your steering wheel MUST be in the speedometer only screen. Why that matters I have no clue but it does. Also you must be in Park, Vehicle On, Seatbelt fastened. Subaru Forest Sport 2019
Amata Hinkle thank you cause I’m doing this and I don’t have the option to change date AND time after holding INFO. I can only change the time and only the hour, no minutes. Weird procedure for such a minute task
Okay, folks. You're not going crazy. Subaru has a bug in the system to set date/time. For years now I've been trying to figure this out. Sometimes I can set the time, and sometimes I have to go to the dealer where the head of maintenance shows me how to do it. What he shows me looks like what I've been doing all along, except that when HE does it it works, and when I do it, it doesn't. So, I have a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek with *Color* screens. Apparently, the Crosstrek also comes with b/w screens, and instructions are different for that. My car has three screens: two on the middle section of the console and one behind the steering wheel. Time is displayed on the top middle console which is not a touch screen. Also, that screen has no buttons. The lower console is a touch screen and displays radio/media information, as well as settings and other features regarding which I know little. The first several steps in the manual appear to be correct. The electronics of the car must be on. On my car, this means either starting the car, or pressing the start button twice without depressing the brake. Wait until the greeting screens disappear. This takes about 5 - 10 seconds. Press the home button, either on the lower screen on the center console or below the center screens, and then "Settings" on the touch screen. Follow by "Vehicle" at the lower right of the touch screen. The top entry is "clock" or something similar. Select that, and then select Manual mode. The alternative here is to select Auto, which I haven't been able to get to work with my phone. Now the tricky part. Look at the steering wheel. On the left there is a button marked "INFO." Behind the left side of the steering wheel are three buttons: one has an upward pointing triangle, one has "i/set" and one has a downward pointing triangle. Press the INFO button repeatedly until the top screen on the center console says "Push and hold [INFO] button for selection screen." Now look at the screen behind the steering wheel. The particular display here is controlled by the buttons with up and down triangles behind the left side of the steering wheel. IF THIS SCREEN READS "PUSH AND HOLD [i/set] BUTTON FOR SELECTION SCREEN" CHANGE THE SCREEN USING EITHER THE UP OR DOWN BUTTONS!! Apparently, the Subaru logic is confused when both the screen behind the steering wheel and the one at center top of the console show similar messages. NOW press the [INFO] button (*not* the i/set button). The top screen on the center console should now allow you to set the time using the two triangle buttons. Whew!
Guys this video isn't working. Do this: on your right side screen press settings than vehicle then clock then on the clock itself +or- to set the time.

Poor engineering. Like the car, but hate how the screens are laid out. Not intuitive.
Thank you!!! I was going nuts holding it in.
Guys if it didn't work go onto the car screen, into settings find clock adjustment and turn off automatic and switch to manual. Problem solved :)
For the last 3 time changes I have had to go to the dealership to get help. This is a ridiculously difficult feature on this car!
