Glad to see you are switching to DX Labs software, which I have been using for more traditional operating. I started to go digital and using FLRig, FLDigi, and now WSJT-X. Would love to see details on this combo, though your use of Commander is of some interest, I'm primarily interested in the DXKeeper. Keep them coming, as I'm very interested.
I GOT TO 1:47 IN THE VIDEO AND GOT LOST! YOU SAID YOU HAD PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED THIS PROGRAM. I FOLLOWED ALONG AFTER THAT SPOT TO TRY TO INSTALL IT ON MY W10 MACHINE THAT I AM USING FOR WSJT-X AND WINLINK. NO JOY. IT DOES NOT SEE MY RADIO WHEN WSJT-X IS RUNNING... DO I NEED TO USE A DIFFERENT COM PORT (IM USING 6) FOR THE COMMANDER? THANKS FOR ALL YOUR VIDEOS, THEY HAVE REALLY HELPED ME. MICHAEL N4IFD,
Thanks Michael and the installed programs can be managed from the "config" button in the DX Lab Launcher. Did you see the blog post www.k0pir.us/dxlab-suite-installation/
@@HamRadioAdventures Thanks for the reply! The Launcher worked well for me as my Commander module will start and run and the radio responds, ie show Freq and can TX or RX using the program. What it won' t do is WSJT-X, soon as I start the program everything locks up. Have to restart the PC to free up the com port before I can start FT8. I also restart my 7300. I am trying to operate most of my shack remotely as I have a much better antenna farm at my hobby shop . I'm using a version of ACRONIS, a program normally used by network managers (my son is one at a megachurch) that lets me do everything I need to do, except back of or on the RF Gain based on the green/red vertical bar chart. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
@@michaelcrisler5702 I would use two cables. The CI-V for WSJT-X rig control and the USB for DXLab Commander rig control. You'll have to setup :Unlink From REMOTE" in the radio. GL!
Interesting that when you configured your radio, you just picked your radio and used the defaults and all went well. I have an IC-775 DSP and the commander configuration rejected all 64 Ports. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Good day. It's always good to restart the PC. Have you been able to use CAT control with other software? Maybe HRD or Omnirig. Use that other program just to make sure all is well, then double check a few things in Commander. The CI-V address of your radio, the port number and the baudrate. GL and best 73!.
Hi Alana, thanks for commenting and it is recorded in 1080p HD. Increase your playback quality and it will be FB. Thanks for commenting. because your comment will help others as well. Best 73 from Florida!

Not clear what the port is when using an ethernet connection
Hi Mark, what radio do you have?
