Ceryl's Story - Loved&Lost

Ceryl returns to Lawrenny Bay in Pembrokeshire to recall memories of summer holidays with her son Macsen, spent playing on the beach. She bravely shares her story, how the loss of Macsen created a chasm in the family, how holding on and keeping it all together might not be the answer and sharing her hopes for the future.

We have much in common as we live in Cardiff and have a caravan at Lawrenny Quay and we are in the position of your parents in that we also lost our first grandchild, Peter Baldwin to undiagnosed Type1 Diabetes at the age of 13. I’m sure your thoughtful and gentle words will help others.
