All the tokens that my brother mentioned are truly used in the church...things like copper wire to protect house and cars (though not disclosed but those items are used as tokens to monitor ppl). I had an issue with my car....it refused to start ,I then went to the so called kraal (leshakeng) to inquire about the issue from ZCC prophet. to my surprise the ZCC prophet gave me an instruction to kneel and praying facing the ZCC mountain and ask Lekganyane to release my car. My innocent question back then was " how can people replace Jesus with coke , vaseline and tea speaking their problems to those things an instruction from so called prophets? . As people were sipping their tea, I asked that question but many people left, making sense of my question but I was ridiculed that I'm disrespectful yet I wanted logic and I had to leave prematurely leaving a friend behind. That was my first and last time of visiting such a church, there was no logic behind the tea, coke and vaseline remedy.
I am one of the ex ZCC member who grew up from the church since my native day and still learning the gospel from bible perspective as this is more important for me to unlearn to learn the right gospel. You did not explain some of things properly and understand because you don't have background about certain matters relating to ZCC. Prophets in ZCC use a kraal (enclosure for confining livestock) to prophesy visitors and church members there. in ZCC you only get blessings when you follow the instructions of the church, making it a perfomance-church based as once the Bishop stated in one of his sermons "Le tla humana bjang meshomo le sa rapele le go phetha ditaelo" meaning how will you get jobs while you don't pray and perform the church injunctions.
I feel sorry for the loyal followers who were indoctrinated from a young age nothing you say or show them will make them doubt their religion because its their roots but sooner or later God will expose everything just like he did with Bushiri.
