Mpilo thank you for clarifying the law relating to allowing play to continue after a foul. I maintain however that the application of that law/rule in this scenario was incorrect because,,
1. After the tackle, the player remained in possession and control of the ball.
2. The player still had his one v one with the keeper. His goal scoring opportunity was still very available to him.
3. The player took a shot towards goal and missed.
Our referees are extremely poor... Chiefs did not lose to Pie rats... They to the referee. And this has become a norm
South African fans don't accept defeat. Mofokeng failing matric has nothing to do with football. Yes he failed but he's exceptional on the field of play. If you are defending Mofokeng, you must always be switched on until ref blows the last whistle 3 times.
Point of correction there is no way that Rele could have failed matric in 2024 reason being that he was not doing matric he was in matric in 2022 and passed in 2023 so plz stop this personal vendetta against umntwana wabantu it's sick and disgusting.

Serious fouls like violent conduct or a second yellow card offense may not warrant playing advantage, even inside the penalty box.
3.Quick decision making:
The referee needs to make a fast judgment call to decide whether to play advantage or award a penalty.

Chiefs playing alone whilst it had only 1 real opportunity created to score and only in the 3rd minute is laughable to say the least. Chiefs only entered the Pirates box with the ball only twice the entire game, its like they were playing in their half, immediately they pass the centre line they give it away. For the mere fact that the goalkeeper deserves the man of the match says a lot

Blom must not be blamed just for a mistake that happened in a second, Blom had a fantastic game. Blom did his best to minimise Mofokeng for 90 minutes.
1. On the balance of play,they were the much better side with better chances,so deservedly edged it.
2. We are trash. We have low quality players with no football intelligence.
3. Dortley and Miguel are the only players who can ealk away with their heads held high. Same can be said about Bvuma(his shortstopping),his distribution though was bang average.
4. We can't keep possession,we can't string together a succession of passses. That's simply not good enough l.

They had no joy in the middle of the park, that’s where we neutralised them, hence they couldn’t make Mofokeng play. They were playing long and our back 4 was solid dealing with those long balls. They had no joy on the ball.

Mpilo we were scammed, Mmodi was supposed to get the same treatment too for the save Chaine made, the defender made him lose balance just like Mofokeng….so the referee knew if he gave Sibisi’s on Mmodi he was supposed give a red card so he ignored it but gave it for Mofokeng after he failed. But i must confess though, i still don’t understand what this “advantage” means….does it mean it has to result only in a goal?
