I know Mattel decided to make several "small series of figures" and I think the Rumbles were one of them (there was the "Slam City", the "WWE Monsters", the "Create a Superstar", the "WWE Zombies" and many others).
And I think there weren't enough buyers for the Rumblers to make them want to continue. Unfortunately for us, the Rumblers were selling for less than the large Mattel Basic and Mattel Elite figures.
