fanatics are on both side. No one wants to get rid of fanatics you know. Retrobrightning of people lives should never end. I know problems of many 8-bits... Emulators are not the same thing as living in times when a smoked power supply could ruin your life.
that's actually pretty nice. I've been contemplating the idea of making a SID module for the XL expansion port, so maybe stuff like this could happen. XD (probably going to use an fpga replica SID though, because I don't fancy the idea of risking actual vintage chips for a project like this...) On the other hand my other pet project is creating a 16 bit system with mods for an XL machine. (65816 cpu + extra RAM + VBXE module = most of a functioning 16 bit monster. Guess maybe I can throw in a Yamaha 2612, since I have a pile of those things lying around, and maybe an SIO to usb adapter so I can hook up a 3.5 inch floppy drive in an easy way... Why? Why not? XD)

So, I'm over two hours searching that tune on the Atari. Tested it on an emulator but has no music, maybe I'm missing something in the game. Also I've found a sap file but doesn't match with what I've heard on youtube. Another guy has a way more advanced soundtrack than I. Any help would be appreciated.
This is... the most awesome thing I've heard since the '90s, and I never would have guessed such an end to the Atari x C64 war.
🙂
WOW they sound amazing mixed together.
absolutley brilliant idea. maybe the fans of both machines should sing in harmony too
LOL yes :-D

A duet...nice
Amazing! It seem as if they were made to be played together!
+Roberto Carlos Fernandez Gerhardt Indeed!
*I need MORE !!!*
Wow. That's good man! Good job. I knew only 8 bit atari version, but mix with sid is absolutely masterpiece.
Thank you.
What an awesome idea❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Now on full volume in my car😊
Great! This is the final version of the Panther music! :)
lol thanks.
I was going to write the same ;)😅
Cool mix to the best theme music in gaming history :)
Thank you Sir.
OMG ... absolutely brilliant !
Jet Set Willy, Spy VS Spy?
Jet set is different on both versions as far as I remember.
Spy is repetitive, I think :-/
@@104d_3rr0r_vince incredible that Bachs Moonlight Sonata is on the C64s Jet Set Willy. The Atari Jet Set music would have sounded great on Sid.
Actually work in harmony with each other!very good.
Εξαιρετικός όπως πάντα ! Το αποτέλεσμα "μιλάει" από μόνο του !

Any more c64 vs Atari XL arguments and this gets played in response 😁
LOL
Fantastic work, sir. Love it.
Thank you
Soy yo, o la combinación de ambas melodías forma una composición magnifica
I don't understand a word but thank you anyway 🙂
Stereo, echoed - nice effect.
Glad you liked it :-)
Really nice one!
Thank you

There is no "why" in projects like this, only YM 🤣
Good thinking about protecting the SID.
Would love to see the results.
th-cam.com/video/-hUPZAtkyEA/w-d-xo.html ever tried SidPlay ? ;) (no hardware mods, pure vanilla Atari XL/XE required)
custom sounds chips
Indeed.
Fantastic! :D:D:D:
I love it!
Try Amstrad's CPC version of this music from demo Voyager '93:

I to super! :)
Πολύ ωραίο!
Έχω όμως την εντύπωση ότι ο ήχος του pokey επικρατεί λίγο παραπάνω σε σχέση με το sid.

perfect
Wait, Panther was released for C64???? OO
yeap
Together sounds much better like alone the originals!
Can you do this for Speellbound, too?
Was it for atari 8bit too?
Yes, it was on the C64 as well as on the Atari 8bit.
I'll give it a try in the next days.

That is unfortunate, but nevertheless thank you for the effort :)
