- When I am finishing a wire inlayed handle, I use TruOil to seal it. In this video I show the process I go through to get a slick, clean finish, using a method called rubbing out.

could i use mineral oil instead of the linseed to apply the rottenstone?
Not sure. Give it a try on a scrap piece. Let me know how it goes
Is it slippery when wet?
Yeah a little, but it does have a slight resistance to it. You don’t want it too think or it will wear you out!
