What I think is so interesting about this moment is that, while everyone else is busy reminding Ben of his own reputation (not even thinking that, this time, Ben is genuinely excited at the idea of something real and long-term with Callum), it's Stuart who figures out, before anyone else, just how much Ben actually cares about Callum. I liked that. And, I think, it's telling that, years later, when Ben and Callum really do look like they're finished, it's Stuart who stops in to the cafe to see Ben and tell him, "When you two get back together, and you will, don't break his heart." Stuart always knew.
Stuart bringing up Paul was too far. I honestly think that's what made him act that way. Like sure Ian, Jay, and Stuart all said he was with a lot of people but bringing up Paul especially when Ben probably still blames himself for that, it was way too much.
Perfect soundtrack at the end for them omg “I’m in the corner watching you Kiss her” i died ❤️😭 also I can’t wait for Ben to apologize to him and jay saying he’ll go out with him 😂😂 I love all 4 of them and poor callum GOOD THING IS THAT TEASERS HAVE LEAKED THAT CALLUM KEEPS TRYING TO GET HIM BACK so I can’t wait 😊(this happens in the episode I already watched it today)
As this date progresses, I feel so bad for both of them, especially Ben. Even though what he did at the end, was a dick move, with everything he’s been told, I can’t help but feel for him, he doesn’t deserve this. (I’m sorry if this is too much information, I’m really trying not to give spoilers, though it says disaster date in the title)
