Nice to see unrehearsed ideas put to work during performance. Master of musicality someone said. Well anything is possible once you get rid of the lyricist and the vocalist. Such a relief to see them banished here. Personally I cannot see why anyone would want to dance to lyrics, because if they were present here, all the texture and metre of the melody would be lost, only the beat would be left, if you could hear it beyond the voice, and this kind of performance would not be possible. So why do we have lyrics? Beats me......
Agree and not agree. This instant, this version without any lyrics, these twoo inspired dancers, this day... Everything was a part of one and unic peace. In this moment, lyrics would have broken the balance but... but... Some other versions with lyrics would have given birth to something else, as rich but different. Maybe something else very special would have grown. The artists have got this talent to extract in dance the juice of any good version, with or without lyrics. The meaning of the lyrics in mind, and the wedding betwen the voice and the instruments would have created an all different world. I'd like to see one day great artists like them dance on many different versions of Oblivion to observe and appreciate the different ways they feel things.
Rather too self-conscious for me. I like to see new ideas and interpretation, but it's all too easy to get way too pretentious and un-pick tango so much it becomes something else entirely and loses its character altogether. Whilst I admire their technique I actually find this lacks heart, guts and soul. But then it is show tango.
Not very impressive. At times, they seem too forceful in their moves for this particular song. At other times they dance it like a milonga, which in this case is like dancing off the music, or sometimes they seem too acrobatic. They may consider taking classes on musical interpretation.
J'adore ! Leur interprétation d'Oblivion est fascinante
I got goosebumps watching it. So very beautiful ❤❤❤🌟🌟🌟
This is what tango is all about: a burlesque street dance of superb quality. Muito obrigado! Bravo!!!!!!!!

Unfortunatelly, the only person in the world who could teach Horacio Godoy on musicality is Horacio Godoy :)

I'm short of breath! Leaky eyes.

Tango tries to be Ballet

Is it eyes or ears you don’t have?
