Redstone and a Bloomery! - Terrafirmagreg E5

We added in the Bloomery and will be getting iron soon! In the meantime I kept up my search for redstone...

When you open the inventory there is a trashcan in the upper left corner of the screen. Very useful for getting rid of rocks from the inventory while mining.

There is a way for you to get redstone dust. You have to mine redstone ore with a hammer then craft that with a hammer which will get you impure redstone dust which you can just throw in water.

If you mine with a hammer you get like 2-3x more ore

Been sort of playing along in my own world. Had to re-watch these episodes to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong... After 3 days of searching in granite caves with the pro-pick for about 4 hours each, finally found redstone. I really hope this is all I need or there's another way later. Great series!

With ore processing you'll be able to get a lot of redstone byproduct from some ores, so you should be fine ^-^
