More likely than not it’s an isolated thing. A small % of boots are gonna come out of the factory defective. That’s just a consequence of mass-producing boots. He’s probably eligible for a new pair under the warranty, tbh.

That’s not why the boots ripped. After talking with a material scientist on how this works, I can confirm it’s a manufacturer issue. I’d agree turf if it was the soleplate, but it’s the heel. For the glue to melt via friction from turf you’re looking at $280-350 degrees
@@haltsboots thanks I know though because I bought them and immediately returned them they hurt my feet and they broke the first time I wore them I exchanged them for the mad ready vapors and I’m very happy.
