I think everyone is forgetting even though ray did nothing wrong he has always just gotten to do whatever he wants and got all the love. For him love is free and everything is his, with her because of him she gets nothing and he outshines her leaving nothing for her. It’s not his fault but it’s not hers either. I mean even her favorite knight is given to him. This girl has everything taken away because of him. Let’s be honest he takes it and does not even care he took it, it’s like being given the best gift ever and then it’s taken away and given to your sibling and they break it and throw it on the floor. How long till you hate that person? It’s not his fault but it is his fault. He needs to stop taking from her to get her love it pushes her away. Just like the sword compilation if he wins she will hate him forever because she’s worked hard and he just takes it because.

I don’t get , you said he needs to stop taking from her and also you said he doesn’t know he is taking from her . How can someone stop doing something they don’t know they are doing in the first place and also why blame an innocent and nice soul all because they are blessed , it’s not their fault . Some people have it easy in life others don’t doesn’t mean we should go around killing them or hating them. To me what she should do and this is the most important thing is of her to love herself unconditionally. You want others to love you when you don’t even love yourself. Im glad im not the only one who noticed, it just pains me that some people say Dorothy is at fault here. Ray might be trying to be nice but it just doesnt work, and he wont know what hes doing wrong because he always got everything for just beong cute and being able to use a spirit. Because of being raised with everything, he doesnt know what is wrong and has trouble learning from his mistakes because he was never called out. For example, that one scene where he just casually said that Dorothy technically should be crown princess, she isnt because she cant use a spirit! He didint even realise how rude that was! With that kind of attitude, he will most likely fail as a ruler, since that does reqire at least *some* learning from mistakes, which he is clearny unable to do. Im not saying Ray is at fault or a bad person, he just needs to learn to notice his mistakes and learn from them

If as a kid I witnessed that coronation and the way she was treated by both the brother and dad I would be stepping back and letting her get comfortable and confident but it’s like him and ray come and push her to just love them I do not know if he’s like ray where everybody must love him the most but I get vibes there similar. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but i do think Ray is in the wrong here. He is pushing the relationship with his sister against her will. Yes, he is sweet and kind, but he's not pursuing a good sibling relationship with her to show her the love she's missed out on. He's doing it because HE wants a relationship with her, and he ignores what SHE wants which is her space. And he does this despite the fact he knows how she's been treated until now.
He is a kid so we can cut him some slack, but i think that given his upbringing this will be the first situation he's encountered where his wants conflicts with someone else's wants. He'll eventually need to understand that the love he's been shown thus far must not be forced and instead given freely.
I totally agree, around the early of the video there was a moment like that and the narrator of the video kinda put the blame on her, saying she is so cold to Ray, I felt my blood boil, really, the narrator of the video literally did with everyone in the story does, think he did nothing wrong, I once heard one thing from my mother "even hell is full of good intentions"

Though it was for a moment and by accident, I know what it is like to not be loved by my mother, as if I didn't even exist, so I can sympathize a tiny bit with Dorothy and her "father."
Man, I really can't stand the younger brother. He thinks that by constantly being in his sister's face, who hates him, she will just magically start to like him one day. Not to mention that he keeps ignoring his sister's words to leave her alone which probably only makes her dislike him more tbh. I know I would at least.

All that neglect and blatant favouritism from her father toward her brother, every denial of love she longed for but couldn't get, all those feelings just festered and accumulated until she's had enough. I can only imagine that killing him might have been a form of self-liberation from all that and finally being free.
And I doubt her brother was completely oblivious to all the unfair treatment she was getting especially now when she's literally telling him to leave her alone while being very obvious that she doesn't like her brother on which he picked up on. But If she keeps treating him like that after he has made significant progress in the right direction that even we, the readers, can't deny I'd start to think she's clinging to her grievances a bit too hard.

The emperor is trash that can't die fast enough, Raymond is sheltered to the point of stupidity, Theon is selfish and vindictive, Julia is manipulative, and Ethan is obsessive and possessive. At least Ethan actually cares for her. At the current point in the novel, you get the feeling that if weren't for nobels, especially Theon, she would have been an amazing monarch in the first timeline.

This story is so painful and twisted. Imagine being given a second chance to relive your life for the better, but you are the only one who as to change? This girl has it in her DNA to be a tyrant (nature) grew up without love or affection ( nurture). Her brother is cute and all and is loved and is given every opportunity for success but he is so oblivious! Yes, he is a child and a lot will go over your head but Christ his naivety is annoying. The man she loved in the pass is still fresh in her heart plus the girl he preferred is very much present.
How is D to navigate all the feelings she as? With no mother, friends to lean on? That's sorry excuse of a seed doner! My goodness! When I was 5 minutes into this vid I was ugly crying fat tears, no lie. I understood her pain so much my chest hurts so bad and I even cried silently. And throughout the entire video, I cried a total count of 3 times. And I played my sad playlist.
This is the first time a manhwa made me cry so hard that I immediately and literally got emotionally wrecked, so kudos to the wonderful author and this satisfyingly hurtful piece.

This story is so relatable! As the middle child, i just can’t help but be mean to my little brother. I just find him SO ANNOYING! What a bad decision Ray is making to enter the swordsmanship competition ..all this will do is to inflame the hostility toward Dorothy to Ray ..In her perspective Ray is just mocking her . What they need to do is have a heart to heart conversation with perhaps Stephen as a mediator between the two parties to bring about a real reconciliation.

can anyone please tell me where i can find the manga? I just want to read this story, honestly the mc isn't even bad, its just the society or environment and the lack of love and affection her father lacked for her 😢. it's also honestly so sad that Dorothy thought that her mother died because of her or that she killed her mother ( during when her mother gave birth to her ), Evrything isnt her fault, but the way she lashed out on Ray just because he wanted to make sure she was okay and make her happy, a part of it is her fault while majority is their father's. Im always so sad when ever i watch anime or read mangas about family problems, love problems all because of some misunderstandings. In Dorothy family's problem, Her dad loved Ray more than her, which cauesd Dorothy to get jealous of and take her brother's love towards her for granted. In her love problem, she was jealouse of Theon and Julie as she thought that Theon did not love nor care about her.
And honestly everything is due to her past and father that everything is just so messed up!

Man, this was so good but frustrating to watch!
Honestly the one at fault is obviously her father. But I really hate how she treats her brother. Hes clearly trying to have a relationship with her, he is for sure being a bit childish and annoying, but he genuinely cares for her! He even tried to stand up for her when that man bumped into her and her father scolded her.
He obviously doesn't like how she's treated but he can do anything about that. Hes just trying to help by being kind and supportive. I know that it can be really hurtful when you genuinely try to be kind and have a better relationship with your siblings and they shove you away, its a horrible feeling. With that said, he should have taken a hint by now.
Her behaviour is also overly rude, its not his fault that their father is just crap. Her behavior was so over when he came to visit her! After 3 years! She didn't even respond to his letters, at most she should have sent a letter saying that she wont respond or doesn't want letters sent to her. By now its obvious that hes stupid and won't understand, (which is because he hasn't directly done anything wrong to her, so he won't understand why she being so hateful) she should directly tell him she doesn't want to be close with him, and wants him to stop trying to be close to her.

I definitely agree that Dorothy needs to stop picking on her brother. I will agree with he is a complete fool, but part of that is because of how their father treats both of them.
I just can't stand her brother, he seems so unpleasant to me with his childish, immature and stupid attitude, he doesn't really even make an effort to understand her sister or see things from her perspective. For him, who has everything when he wants it, he believes that it is like that for everyone and is unable to see how contrary the situation is for his sister who "he loves so much."
