Your Afeera complaints 100% agree with
Yeah,Afeera is pretty much,busted.I know she has some counterplay,but fight is mostly flawed in her way,so she isn't pretty much interesting to fight,as well as shugo,because both in some way put you in place where you are just can't start your action without countering at least two of their actions.
For example her having really freaking strong tracking and forward movement on bash which can be used to deal pretty freaking good damage every time you land it(at least 18 damage on her attack after bash,Conq for example has 13 damage after attack,and his forward bash is really just GBable).Of course Conq can be strong or really really annoying,but I don't think someone can just said,that he is unfair to fight against,at least because Conq in most ways,even if we assume he actually pretty much has aggressive offence kit,is actually moreover defensive character.
So what I must say is that,even if FH players being just unreasonably angry at any idea of change for Conq even if he really should have some changes,i would love to see rework for Conq again,even if it would be small,but really right changes,I would like to see such move from Ubi.

Been grinding Conq for over a month now, enjoying him so much. rep 16 currently but couldn't get myself to get used to full guard after a bash miss, looks very useful, kinda cheat move but fuck it i need it 😂
I also forget to do it sometimes, so its just a bad habit that needs to be fixed!

I am assuming you ask for my controller settings, so here they are:
Guard up Stance Angle = 125
Full Block / Hidden Stance Angle = 25
Guard Mode Dead Zone = 6
Rotate Widget = 0
Hopefully these settings will help you get better at the game, since I have been using it for years!
I won’t lie. I truly hate conq and playing against him. But afeera, I don’t think hate is a strong enough word. Unpunishable character with every move and recovery in the game with the damage to pair with it all. Literally a pay to win character through and through.
I fully agree. She is beyond OP IMO, literally ruins the fun of the game. No other character does that as badly as her.
Why use the light attack to punish when you can just heavy everything? Even on a heavy parry I bash to heavy
Conqueror's bash has two options he can choose from:
1. Bash -> Heavy attack = 13 dmg + 12 stamina.
2. Bash -> Light attack = 13 dmg + 9 stamina.
As you can see, the best options is to use the Bash -> Light, since it costs less stamina for the same outcome, but only do the Heavy on an enemy IF they are on low enough Health to get an exe.
On Heavy parry, Conqueror can do:
1. Light = 12 dmg
2. Bash -> Light / Heavy = 13 dmg.
3. Zone attack = 15 dmg
As you can see, the best option to do is a zone attack, since it does the most damage and costs around the same amount of stamina.

Afeera and maybe shinobi are the most annoying characters to fight but thebest duelist character is still warden due to him having the only true unreactable bash.
I dont agree. Afeera is by far the best character in the game, since she is so overtuned its insane. Shinobi is extremely strong, but has some rather minimal weaknesses. Warden is good, dont get me wrong, I personally hate fighting them, but Warden has some major weaknesses that make him worse compared to the other two. A single right read by dodging his bashes guarantees a GB for example makes Wardens gameplay risky, since you risk yourself getting a major punish.

It isn't crushing counter,Conq has recovery for his defensive stance on every attack,which means that after any attack you done,you enter your stance much faster than if you were doing it from neutral.
So whats happend to Cent dodge attack,is that Conq attack missed,but because of this recovery gimmick,Conq just entered stance,and dodge light of Cent hitted Conq shield(stance blocked attack) and thus Jepser could do attack from stance after block
Conqueror has something called "recovery cancel", and what it does is that it "cancels" your recovery to then have the ability to punish someones punish. This isnt the safest thing to do, but it does help a lot against dodge attacking people, not dodge bashes though.
What happened was that I missed my attack, and because of that I went into "recovery mode" and because I saw that the Cent dodge attacked, I then went into my recovery cancel (full-guard) and punishes him!

Hey how do you go into full guard after missing a bash?
Conq has the ability to recovery cancel his recoveries. This means that whenever you do an attack and for example miss, you will then be put into something called "recovery" and during this time you wont have the ability to attack / block / parry / dodge. You are completely open to counter attacks, but Conq has the ability to protect himself after a missed attack during his recovered state.
Conq can do this on all of his moves, which includes attacks and bashes. If you miss a bash for example, you can hold down during the missed bash to get into your full-guard which is his recovery cancel! But there is a massive risk to this. Conq has extremely bad recoveries on missed neutral bashes (excluding in-chain bash) and because of this, experienced players knows that its just simply better to NOT attack on a bash, since they will pretty much always get a free guardbreak since the recovery cancel ONLY punishes attacks, and not bashes / unblockables / guardbreaks. Its both a great tool and also a bad tool since the risk to reward isnt the best, but it gives Conq atleast the ability to punish punishes.
Havent played this game since 2018, i see its the same as before. conq especially, always has the pressure in the fight and the gameplay to win most fights for a conq is the most basic 50/50 nonsense ever

I feel like Conq is as much pain in the ass as Afeera. His fullblock recovery cancels get me every time.
I know it may sound like im Conq main,but you can actually try to do just empty dodge in GB,or just dont attack.
I mean,Conq is not having much reliable opener and honestly I think in chain he isn't that of a threat than Afeera
It could be, but try and not do so much dodge attacks, because I thought the same at first, but after using him myself, I have seen that to be able to use his recovery cancel, he needs to commit to it, and not wait to long, so with this information, Conqueror is quite easy to punish with GB. But after the patch today (7/12-23), his recovery from missed bashes have been 100ms better, so I need to use him more to see if it has made a difference!
He can do his recovery fullblock on reaction. Those dodge attack animations are completely different from.empty dodges
@@aberger6666 Actually it depends on timing of dodge attack and what move you are doing,if it bash and opponent predodges,recovery can work only if you press button from the start,but yeah,after missed heavy or light,its reactable,but still kinda much more fair than any gimmick Afeera has

I actually though the same at first regarding Conqueror. But after playing him I have experienced different players methods to beat Conquerors and because of that I have found out his more major weaknesses.
Conqueror is very GB punishable, so try and not dodge attack, unless you have a dodge bash, then you are at a advantage. It costs a ton of stamina to do his moveset, which means its not so much spam, even though it feels like it. Also, if you parry his unblockables, Conq's cant really do much.
I understand its a annoying fight, but it's actually less annoying if you actually take it easy when fighting a Conqueror!
