Influence of Islam on Dante’s Divine Comedy: This subject has been studied in western academia, most importantly by a Spanish scholar Migvel Asin in his book, “La Escatología musulmana en la Divina Comedia (1919)”. and also by the Italian scholar Enrico Cerculi.
