UKIP's Godfrey Bloom hits reporter Michael Crick with party brochure

The MEP Godfrey Bloom has defended branding women at a UK Independence Party event "sluts" and lashed out at a Channel 4 News reporter. He was heard shouting "this place is full of sluts" in response to comments made at the gathering in London. When the UKIP spokesman was asked whether he thought it was appropriate by reporters outside, he said: "I made a joke and said 'oh well you're all sluts' and everybody laughed including all the women."
In a reference to previous comments made by Mr Bloom that he was keen to deal with women's issues because they did not "clean behind the fridge enough", a Ukip woman is heard joking: "I too have never cleaned behind my fridge." Mr Bloom is then clearly heard responding "This place is full of sluts" on the audio clip recorded by the Huffington Post website.
The MEP also hit Channel 4 News journalist Michael Crick over the head with a copy of the Ukip's conference guide when asked why there were "no black faces" on the cover. Report by Tom Ellis.

Will Hooper First of all, nobody is saying 'Britain NEEDS more diversity' what we're saying is diversity really isn't all that bad. Secondly, although I can't speak for all other people, I support the idea of open borders which would mean anyone who wants to live anywhere else is free to do so without political intervention, hence if you wanted you would be allowed to go and live in Nigeria, and if you did so I believe the people you speak out against wouldn't even consider calling you a racist. The media were clearly trying to provoke a reaction, which sadly they got. I think sky interviewed their own reporter on the TV. They should try reporting the news rather than forcing it. It's worth listening to the original recording as it was a joke and everybody in the room took it a such.

I was worried when we voted in conservatives, but now UKIP is an actual candidate? Misinformed media and market curves led to conservative influence, and the rich upper-class percentage of the vote topped it off, but selfishness is not something that should come in to politics. For anyone voting for UKIP or Conservatives read up on the original position theory before voting, not to mention that Liberal Democrats are unreliable and self-interested. Labour isn't much better, but at least it is a viable option.
