If your local supermarket has prepackaged trays of bonnets or habaneros you can find the pack with the biggest, best pod and save the seeds from it.

    Peace and blessings from
TMH family! I’m an urban farmer in Philly and just got my hands on chocolate scotch bonnet seeds for the first time. What are your suggestions for fertilization of the peppers?

I've been looking for some of these peppers for so long...bought some from other places, but it was not scotch bonnets..very disappointing....I would love to purchase some of the peppers/ seed whichever is available.

Blessings my brother, those chocolate peppers are actually "HABANEROS". I personally will not consume them because of their Scoville ratings, way too hot for me.

What size bucket do you grow your plants in?

Does any of your pepper plants droop ? Even when watered they droop and they are planted in the ground. Any hints to what’s going on? And how to prevent the drooping?

Too much weight from the peppers, or not enough water

@@mog_3825 it was the hay I bought from Home Depot that killed my plants it’s what they sprayed on the hay.

The chocolate pepper is no the real peppper

  • @Soul-462

There are no real chocolate Scotch Bonnets peppers. Scotch bonnets only come in one color, yellow. They were called scotch bonnet from the shape of a Scotsman hat, the Tan. These peppers do not have that shape. It’s deceitful to call something and sell it to people what it’s not. These are just chocolate color Habanero hot. peppers

Thank you very much for your opinion. Please do a little research to see the various colors that scotch bonnets grow in. These are what we grow back home in Jamaica as chocolate scotch bonnets and the original seed that we grew them from came from our home in Jamaicaand were carried back by our family member. Though you may not approve it doesnt change that for us. On the other hand its rude to call someone deceitful based from your own perception not fact. You can simply choose not to purchase our seeds. Have a blessed day
