Song of Solomon, chapter 5, verse 16. - His mouth is sweetness itself; he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, this is my friend, daughters of Jerusalem. But in chapter 7, verse 10, she says, "I belong to my beloved, and his desire is for me." Since Muhammad is her beloved (according to the Islamic interpretation), she declares in 7:10 that she belongs to Muhammad and that Muhammad desires her. How did Solomon's bride belong to Muhammad? Why would Muhammad desire a woman who had been dead for more than fifteen centuries? 2. Ezekiel 24:16 - "Son of man, with one blow I am about to take away from you the delight of your eyes. Yet do not lament or weep or shed any tears. Ezekiel's wife is called "machmad," because she's treasured by Ezekiel. So if machmad means "Muhammad," Muhammad must have been Ezekiel's wife. 3. To any Christian remotely familiar with Song of Solomon, the first appropriate response to this argument is honestly a hearty laugh. This is obviously a love song between Solomon and his bride, and to put Muhammad in the place of the bride's beloved turns the book into nonsense. The context is clearly about the passionate love of a marriage and is sometimes rather descriptive. It could not possibly be about some future prophet bringing a new book. Additionally, the argument hinges on the idea that, in the original Hebrew, the personal name of Muhammad is there. It plainly is not. The Hebrew word "machmad" means "desirable" or when used as a noun, "desirable thing" or "lovely thing." The plural form used here, "machamadim," is an emphatic form and so is translated "wholly desirable" or "altogether lovely." The fact that it sounds kind of like a name in another language from a different time period is obviously irrelevant to the meaning of the word. This word is used throughout the Old Testament. It is not a unique word. If the word secretly means the personal name "Muhammad," then in places like Hosea 9:16 where God pronounces judgment on Ephraim and promises to slay even "your beloved" (machamadim) we should read this as a promise by God that He would slay Muhammad in judgment, right? An eager bride finds her husband-to-be wholly desirable. She does not consider her future husband to actually be a prophet who will come a thousand years after she is dead. Much more could be said, as this argument is so absurd. It is worth at least pointing out lastly that the same chapter in which these Muslims attempt to show that the beloved groom of Song of Solomon is actually Muhammad opens with this beloved groom drinking wine with his milk and urging all his friends to imbibe with him. As Islam strictly forbids alcohol, it is clear that this beloved groom not only isn't Muhammad but does not even share the moral convictions that Muhammad would later promote. He urges people to do what Muhammad would call a sin. Thus, on every level, this argument simply doesn't hold water.

But normally, in Hebrew, when the suffix "im" is added to a word, it's the use of majestic plural, that is giving respect to the entity referred to by the set of characters preceding "im". And when Jesus says in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one,” the Greek word for “one” is *hen* (ἕν), which means “one in essence.” Jesus is literally claiming to be one with God, not just in purpose but in being. There’s no ambiguity here. Now, Naik tries to twist the “Comforter” mentioned in John 14:16 and John 16:7, claiming it refers to Muhammad. But if you read the verses, it’s obvious this “Comforter” is the Holy Spirit. Muhammad was born centuries later and was a man, not an eternal spirit. Naik’s interpretation just doesn’t add up. He also tries to force Muhammad into the Song of Solomon 5:16 by claiming the word “Machmad” (מַחֲמַד) refers to Muhammad. That’s just a hoax. In Hebrew, *Machmad* means “desirable” or “lovely,” and it’s used in various places in the Old Testament (1 Kings 20:6, Lamentations 2:4) to describe precious things, not a person’s name. "Altogether" is added as a contextual reference to "v'chulo" which means "in entirety" or "absolutely". "MACHAMAD" means "desirable, praiseworthy, beautiful, etc". Though it is archaic, it is found elsewhere in the Bible to describe precious and coveted items. The fact that this "MACHAMAD" evidently may well be the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) has already been thoroughly outlined and established. To add further weight to this argument, let us take a closer look at this four-character word. The way this word is written in Hebrew is M-H-M-D. That happens to be the exact same way Muhammad's name is written in Hebrew. Now, when writing in Hebrew, there is no difference between the word mahmad and Muhammad. The only difference is in the vowels used when pronouncing this word. Hebrew is an ancient language, and there are no vowels. It is made up of 22 consonants. In ancient times, the reader decided on his own which vowels to add. It was not until the 8th century that vowels were introduced, in the form of dots and lines. However, this has nothing to do with real Hebrew. The word mahmad in ancient times would most likely have been pronounced "mahamad". According to Ben Yehuda's Hebrew-English Dictionary, is correctly pronounced "mahamad" (not mahmad) which is very close to Muhammad. Ben Yehuda's Hebrew-English Dictionary defines "mahmad" as "lovely, coveted one, precious one, praised one". The correct way to say "praised one" in Arabic is Muhammad, so this is the same word! As was stated before, the name Muhammad and the word mahmad are spelt exactly the same way in Hebrew, and both have the same meaning. The only reason they are pronounced different is because of vowels (dots and lines) introduced in the eighth century.

The word 'Comforter' is used in the English translation for the Greek word Paracletos which means advocate or a kind friend rather than a comforter. Paracletos is the warped reading for Periclytos. Jesus (pbuh) actually prophesised Ahmed by name. Even the Greek word Paraclete refers to the Prophet (pbuh) who is a mercy for all creatures. Some Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realise that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (pbuh) departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that the Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth, and again when Jesus (pbuh) was being baptised, etc. Hence this prophecy refers to none other than Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). 4. This argument can be avoided because the Greek word for spirit in the passage is pneuma, which also could be used to be referring to prophets as in 1 John 4:1. Thus, it is not impossible to say that Jesus was referring to a 'Prophet of Truth' or 'Holy Prophet'

The Americans have a word, 'filibuster' - basically, blinding your opponent with scientific facts, quotes, etc., so that they give in. Zakir Naik is a filibuster. When the Christian says that it says that no name was mentioned by Jesus but instead a "comforter", Naik immediately goes to Songs of Solomon 5:16. As for the general question - what mistake did Jesus make ? - to which Naik answers that it was the Church that made the mistake... not at all. All four canonical Gospels, which Naik quotes from endlessly, were all written and translated from the oral tradition, that Jesus was crucified, died and was resurrected. In other words, everything in the New Testament is directed by the singular historical fact that Jesus died on the cross and the ensuing belief that he was resurrected. Finally, this video never lets us know what the Christian decided after going away and researching the points made. Naik needs to debate with people properly, instead of his showbiz bullying and filibustering. A very intelligent, devious fake.

The word "machmad" is used in many places in the Old Testament. It refers to something pleasing, treasured, or lovely. So if machmad is actually Muhammad's name, we need to be consistent and say that wherever the word "machmad" is used, it's referring to Muhammad.
1. Song of Solomon, chapter 5, verse 16. - His mouth is sweetness itself; he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, this is my friend, daughters of Jerusalem.
But in chapter 7, verse 10, she says, "I belong to my beloved, and his desire is for me." Since Muhammad is her beloved (according to the Islamic interpretation), she declares in 7:10 that she belongs to Muhammad and that Muhammad desires her. How did Solomon's bride belong to Muhammad? Why would Muhammad desire a woman who had been dead for more than fifteen centuries?
2. Ezekiel 24:16 - "Son of man, with one blow I am about to take away from you the delight of your eyes. Yet do not lament or weep or shed any tears.
Ezekiel's wife is called "machmad," because she's treasured by Ezekiel. So if machmad means "Muhammad," Muhammad must have been Ezekiel's wife.
3. Ezekiel 24:21 - Say to the people of Israel, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am about to desecrate my sanctuary--the stronghold in which you take pride, the delight of your eyes, the object of your affection. The sons and daughters you left behind will fall by the sword.
The word "delight" here is machmad. So if machmad is the name "Muhammad," God is promising to desecrate Muhammad.

To any Christian remotely familiar with Song of Solomon, the first appropriate response to this argument is honestly a hearty laugh. This is obviously a love song between Solomon and his bride, and to put Muhammad in the place of the bride's beloved turns the book into nonsense. The context is clearly about the passionate love of a marriage and is sometimes rather descriptive. It could not possibly be about some future prophet bringing a new book.
Additionally, the argument hinges on the idea that, in the original Hebrew, the personal name of Muhammad is there. It plainly is not. The Hebrew word "machmad" means "desirable" or when used as a noun, "desirable thing" or "lovely thing." The plural form used here, "machamadim," is an emphatic form and so is translated "wholly desirable" or "altogether lovely." The fact that it sounds kind of like a name in another language from a different time period is obviously irrelevant to the meaning of the word.
This word is used throughout the Old Testament. It is not a unique word. If the word secretly means the personal name "Muhammad," then in places like Hosea 9:16 where God pronounces judgment on Ephraim and promises to slay even "your beloved" (machamadim) we should read this as a promise by God that He would slay Muhammad in judgment, right? No Muslim would want to say that, of course. And they don't need to because the word quite obviously doesn't mean Muhammad. If it did, why would ancient translations from before the time of Muhammad consistently translate it just as we do today? They would have no reason to try and hide Muhammad's name when the man had not yet even been born and so obviously could not yet be rejected by any of them. The Greek Septuagint translation of Song of Solomon was completed sometime around the first century B.C., hundreds of years before Muhammad. It reads: "he is altogether an object of desire." The old Latin text of the 5th century AD, still well before Muhammad, reads: "he is all lovely."
The translation here is not controversial. No one is hiding anything. An eager bride finds her husband-to-be wholly desirable. She does not consider her future husband to actually be a prophet who will come a thousand years after she is dead. Since there is no personal name "Muhammad" in this text, there is absolutely no reason to think that this passage has anything to do with the future Muslim leader.
Much more could be said, as this argument is so absurd. It is worth at least pointing out lastly that the same chapter in which these Muslims attempt to show that the beloved groom of Song of Solomon is actually Muhammad opens with this beloved groom drinking wine with his milk and urging all his friends to imbibe with him. As Islam strictly forbids alcohol, it is clear that this beloved groom not only isn't Muhammad but does not even share the moral convictions that Muhammad would later promote. He urges people to do what Muhammad would call a sin. Thus, on every level, this argument simply doesn't hold water.

Dr. Zakir Naik’s claims fall apart when we examine both the Bible and the Quran closely, and I’ll show you how.
First off, Dr. Naik says Jesus never claimed to be God. That’s just plain wrong. In John 1:1, the text says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The word for “Word” here is *Logos* (λόγος) in Greek. John 1:14 makes it crystal clear that this *Logos* is Jesus: “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” Jesus is called God from the very beginning, which completely blows up Naik’s argument. And when Jesus says in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one,” the Greek word for “one” is *hen* (ἕν), which means “one in essence.” Jesus is literally claiming to be one with God, not just in purpose but in being. There’s no ambiguity here.
Now, Naik tries to twist the “Comforter” mentioned in John 14:16 and John 16:7, claiming it refers to Muhammad. But if you read the verses, it’s obvious this “Comforter” is the Holy Spirit. John 14:16-17 says, “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever-the Spirit of truth.” The Greek word for “Helper” is *Parakletos* (παράκλητος), which literally means “one who is called to someone’s aid,” a spiritual advocate, not a human prophet. Plus, in John 16:13, it says, “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth.” The Holy Spirit was promised to be with believers “forever” (Greek: *eis ton aiōna* - εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα), not for a limited time like a human life. The “Comforter” can’t be Muhammad because the Holy Spirit is eternal and has been around since creation, even before Jesus’ ministry (check out Genesis 1:2). Muhammad was born centuries later and was a man, not an eternal spirit. Naik’s interpretation just doesn’t add up.
He also tries to force Muhammad into the Song of Solomon 5:16 by claiming the word “Machmad” (מַחֲמַד) refers to Muhammad. That’s just a hoax. In Hebrew, *Machmad* means “desirable” or “lovely,” and it’s used in various places in the Old Testament (1 Kings 20:6, Lamentations 2:4) to describe precious things, not a person’s name. It’s a poetic description, not a prophecy about a future prophet. There’s no credible Hebrew scholar who supports this interpretation. Naik is just grasping at straws.
Even when we look at the Quran, it doesn’t support Naik’s arguments. In Surah 3:45, Jesus is called a “Word from Allah” (*Kalimatullah/Kalimatuhu* - كَلِمَةٍ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ), a title that the Quran doesn’t give to Muhammad or any other prophet. Also, Surah 4:171 describes Jesus as “a Spirit from Him” (*Ruhullah/Ruhum-Minh* - رُوحٌۭ مِّنْهُۥ), which again, is a special title not given to Muhammad. Now, I don’t buy into the Quran, but even by its standards, Jesus is set apart in a way that Muhammad isn’t. Naik can’t just ignore these distinctions.
So, let’s sum it up: The Bible clearly shows Jesus is God, not just a prophet. The “Comforter” is the Holy Spirit, not Muhammad. And there’s no mention of Muhammad in the Song of Solomon-Naik is just making stuff up. Even the Quran gives Jesus a special status that doesn’t align with Naik’s claims. He’s trying to fit square pegs into round holes, and it doesn’t work when you actually look at the texts.
It’s clear that Naik is twisting scriptures to fit his narrative, but his arguments fall apart when you dig into the original languages and contexts.

Surely there is a great Sign for you in all this, if you have a mind to believe. 45 And I have come to confirm those teachings of the Guidance of the Torah which are intact in my time. 46 Lo! I have come with a clear Sign from your Lord; 47 so fear God and obey me. Indeed God is my Lord, and also your Lord; therefore worship Him alone: that is the straight way."48 Quran 3:49-51

Hebrew is an ancient language, and there are no vowels. It is made up of 22 consonants. In ancient times, the reader decided on his own which vowels to add. It was not until the 8th century that vowels were introduced, in the form of dots and lines. However, this has nothing to do with real Hebrew. The word mahmad in ancient times would most likely have been pronounced "mahamad".
According to Ben Yehuda's Hebrew-English Dictionary, is correctly pronounced "mahamad" (not mahmad) which is very close to Muhammad.
Ben Yehuda's Hebrew-English Dictionary defines "mahmad" as "lovely, coveted one, precious one, praised one". The correct way to say "praised one" in Arabic is Muhammad, so this is the same word!
As was stated before, the name Muhammad and the word mahmad are spelt exactly the same way in Hebrew, and both have the same meaning. The only reason they are pronounced different is because of vowels (dots and lines) introduced in the eighth century.

The Bible says that satan himself can show up as an angel of God. Read below verse,

What if satan himself disguised as gabriel (angel of God) and showed up to the fake prophet muhammad and deceived him. Just look at the deeds of your most reverred so-called prophet muhammad and compare his deeds with Jesus Christ. Bible says Jesus was sinless on earth which no mere human can claim which implies Jesus was God Himself who walked on earth 2000 years ago as a man (as if like a servant of God) to offer Himself as a holy sacrifice to the holy God on behalf of the sins of whole mankind which no mere man can offer. He will return to earth in His second coming in His true glorious nature for all to see and reign on heaven and earth. Seek Him and you will find Him. God could have overthrown sinful mankind at a go and recreated something new, but God's will was to just not to abolish what is sin and death but to conquer it. When Jesus was resurrected He conquered sin and death once for all so that anything on heaven and earth will lay under His supreme dominion.
Also muhammad was never a successor to Jesus Christ. The promised comforter was the Holy Spirit and not muhammad.

Muhammad (c. 570-632 AD) was not alive then, so the disciples could not have been comforted by muhammad. The church did not remain stagnant for 600 years waiting on muhammad (Acts 1:4 "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised").
John 14:16-17 (cf. John 15:26-27) says that the Father sent the Holy Spirit, but according to the 99 names of Allah - Allah is not the Father: "There is nothing like male Allah or female Allah. Allah has no gender. If you add the word 'father' to 'God' it becomes 'God-father.' God-father means someone who is a guardian. There is no word like 'Allah-Abba' or 'Allah-father'." (Naik, Islam 101)
According to John 14:26, we see that one of the tasks of the Holy Spirit is to confirm the words of Christ. So, why does Muhammad disagree so much with Jesus (John 16:12-15) and Scripture? (John 1:1; 2 Tim. 3:15-17).
Bible tells us who the Comforter is! He is the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity. These words are very explicit:
John 14:26 - But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I (this is Jesus speaking) have said to you.
Here we see that the Comforter is the person of the Holy Spirit, not Muhammad. We see that the Holy Spirit is sent by the Father who does not exist in Islam. We see that he bears witness to the truth of who Jesus is and what Jesus did (John 16:13-14).
When did Jesus send the Holy Spirit? Did he wait until Muhammad's time? No! He came at Pentecost.
Acts 1:4-5, 8; 2:1-4 . . . "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit... But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." . . . When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
Mohammed is not the Ancient of Days. The Spirit of God was present at creation, Mohammad was not.

The Comforter is the Holy Spirit. He was sent by the Father. As respectfully as I can possibly say this, Islam has no true comforter.
The doctrine of the Trinity does not contradict monotheism. In fact, the doctrine of the Trinity, by definition, asserts that there is only one God. The doctrine of the Trinity does not teach that there are three gods, but rather one God who exists as three persons. It is strictly and explicitly monotheistic. It is not a denial of monotheism to suggest that the one true God is not as simplistic as a mere human in His personal nature. Remember we are talking about "GOD" and not a mere human being.
The Quran, tells Christians in Surah 4:171, "do not say, 'Three'; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God," as if we were saying there are three gods instead of one. The wrong assumption is that "the Trinity" means more than one God. Christians believe that there is one God who has eternally existed in three distinct, coequal, and co-eternal persons. The Father, and the Son, and the Spirit are inseparable from each other in one Godly essence.
We worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity, neither confounding the persons, nor dividing the substance. For there is one Person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Spirit. But the godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, is all one, the glory equal, the majesty co-eternal. Such as the Father is, such is the Son, and such is the Holy Spirit. The Father uncreated, the Son uncreated, and the Holy Spirit uncreated. The Father incomprehensible, the Son incomprehensible, and the Holy Spirit incomprehensible. The Father eternal, the Son eternal, and the Holy Spirit eternal. And yet they are not three eternals, but one Eternal. As also there are not three incomprehensibles, nor three uncreated, but one Uncreated, and one Incomprehensible. So likewise the Father is Almighty, the Son Almighty, and the Holy Spirit Almighty. And yet they are not three almighties, but one Almighty. So the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. And yet they are not three gods, but one God.
John 14:26 defines the "Comforter" or "Helper" as the Holy Spirit.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (pbuh) IN THE BIBLE

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the Old Testament:
The Qur’an mentions in Surah Al-Araf chapter 7 verse 157:
"Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures) in the law and the Gospel".

MUHAMMAD (PBUH) PROPHESISED IN THE BOOK OF DEUTERONOMY:
Almighty God speaks to Moses in Book of Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 18:
"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him."
The Christians say that this prophecy refers to Jesus (pbuh) because Jesus (pbuh) was like Moses (pbuh). Moses (pbuh) was a Jew, as well as Jesus (pbuh) was a Jew. Moses (pbuh) was a Prophet and Jesus (pbuh) was also a Prophet.
If these two are the only criteria for this prophecy to be fulfilled, then all the Prophets of the Bible who came after
Moses (pbuh) such as Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Malachi, John the Baptist, etc. (pbut) will
fulfill this prophecy since all were Jews as well as prophets.
However, it is Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who is like Moses (pbuh):
i)
Both had a father and a mother, while Jesus (pbuh) was born miraculously without any male intervention.
[Mathew 1:18 and Luke 1:35 and also Al-Qur'an 3:42-47]
ii)
Both were married and had children. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not marry nor had children.
iii)
Both died natural deaths. Jesus (pbuh) has been raised up alive. (4:157-158)
Muhammad (pbuh) is from among the brethren of Moses (pbuh). Arabs are brethren of Jews. Abraham (pbuh) had two sons: Ishmail and Isaac (pbut). The Arabs are the descendants of Ishmail (pbuh) and the Jews are the descendants of Isaac (pbuh).
Words in the mouth:
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was unlettered and whatever revelations he received from Almighty God he repeated them verbatim.
"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him."

Both besides being Prophets were also kings i.e. they could inflict capital punishment. Jesus (pbuh) said, "My kingdom is not of this world." (John 18:36).

Both were accepted as Prophets by their people in their lifetime but Jesus (pbuh) was rejected by his
people. John chapter 1 verse 11 states, "He came unto his own, but his own received him not."
iv)
Both brought new laws and new regulations for their people. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not bring any new laws. (Mathew 5:17-18).

It is Mentioned in the book of Deuteronomy chapter 18:19
"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not harken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him."

Muhammad (pbuh) is prophesised in the book of Isaiah:
It is mentioned in the book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12:
"And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned."
When Archangel Gabrail commanded Muhammad (pbuh) by saying Iqra - "Read", he replied, "I am not learned".

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is mentioned by name in the Song of Solomon chapter 5 verse 16:
"Hikko Mamittakim we kullo Muhammadim Zehdoodeh wa Zehraee Bayna Jerusalem."
"His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters
of Jerusalem."
In the Hebrew language im is added for respect. Similarely im is added after the name of Prophet Muhammad
(pbuh) to make it Muhammadim. In English translation they have even translated the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as "altogether lovely", but in the Old Testament in Hebrew, the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is yet present.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the New Testament:
Al-Qur'an Chapter 61 Verse 6:
"And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said, 'O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me and giving glad tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmed.' But when he came to them with clear signs, they said, 'This is evident sorcery!' "
All the prophecies mentioned in the Old Testament regarding Muhammad (pbuh) besides applying to the Jews also hold good for the Christians.

Gospel of John chapter 15 verse 26:
"But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which

Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 7:
"Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not
come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you".
"Ahmed" or "Muhammad" meaning "the one who praises" or "the praised one" is almost the translation of the
Greek word Periclytos. In the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, and 16:7. The word 'Comforter' is used in the English translation for the Greek word Paracletos which means advocate or a kind friend rather than a comforter.
Paracletos is the warped reading for Periclytos. Jesus (pbuh) actually prophesised Ahmed by name. Even the
Greek word Paraclete refers to the Prophet (pbuh) who is a mercy for all creatures.
Some Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realise
that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (pbuh) departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that the
Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth, and again when Jesus (pbuh) was being baptised, etc. Hence this prophecy refers to none other than Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh).

Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 12-14:
"I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is
come, he will guide you unto all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me".
The Sprit of Truth, spoken about in this prophecy referes to none other than Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

The word "delight" here is machmad. So if machmad is the name "Muhammad," God is promising to desecrate Muhammad.
This is what happens when Muslims try to force Muhammad into the Bible.
But this is a good thing actually. If muslims say muhamad is mentioned in the Bible or islam is found in the Bible, this is the perfect reason for Muslims to buy and read the Bible by themselves.

Then, 5:16 is by no means any indisputable reference to Mohammad, but merely a sound that possibly could be his name - and the mental gymnastics required to make the proof is astonishing. Earlier on, Naik asks if Jesus says anywhere in the Bible the explicit point of, "Worship me for I am God", and no, there is no explicit statement, albeit John 12:45 seems as good as to me. However, Zaik wants this level of preciseness to affirm Jesus' divinity, but lets such standards majorly slip when insisting that Mohammad is mentioned in the Bible. As for the general question - what mistake did Jesus make ? - to which Naik answers that it was the Church that made the mistake... not at all. All four canonical Gospels, which Naik quotes from endlessly, were all written and translated from the oral tradition, that Jesus was crucified, died and was resurrected. In other words, everything in the New Testament is directed by the singular historical fact that Jesus died on the cross and the ensuing belief that he was resurrected.
