The combination of Megaguard and FODMATE with meals worked extremely well for me. I was able to get off all of the meds I was taking to manage SIBO symptoms!!! However, it did eventually give me abdominal cramps after a few months of taking it consistently so I had to stop and SIBO relapsed. But the sibo now isnt as bad as it once was so grateful for the advice here!!!

Thank you for sharing your expertise, I have been in agony for over 3 years with severe constipation and been asking for a SIBO test. Only got it 2 weeks ago but no results yet. My bowels have stopped working unless I take a mountain of laxatives, I have to be careful though as I have Crohn's Disease but thankfully it's in remission. I feel nobody is listening to me or nobody cares (healthcare professionals) and I'm just a nuisance for being bloated, in pain and unable to eat. I watch all your programmes Shivan and feel I'm better informed than the gastroenterologist! This is where I found out about SIBO!

You’re not alone I’ve been dealing with this for three years since I was food poisoned by fermenting unpasteurized apple cider. I’ve been trying to deal with it for all this time. Megaspore did help but it seems like something else is going on maybe my liver because I do have fatty liver. God help us. How are you doing now? I do recommend megaspore in a bit on and off of it for a while. It does seem to help but if I go off my diet I get sick again

Kiran's approach actually contradicts Dr. Pimentel's. For Kiran, the bacterial overgrowth is only a symptom of a much deeper problem that is not addressed by Dr. Pimentel.

I've seen where their approaches and thoughts on SIBO contradict one another too, as well as with Dr Allison Siebecker. I am trying personally to glean every applicable nugget from all three experts and leave what doesn't seem as intuitive to me in how they treat.

My functional medicine doctor says that sibo is a secondary thing of something else going on in the body. The challenge is to find that root cause which it could be a million things 😞

@@carolinagarcia3277 yes and usually it’s motility. If you reintroduce motility the sibo usually clears itself.

@@daniel-1998 no, it isn't always. My SIBO was caused by 4 weeks of Cipro. The cause is an extremely weakened gut flora in the small intestine. The good probiotics are in a constant communication with a vagus nerve. Severe dysbiosis - bad bugs with their metabolites block this communication. That is why people were able to heal SIBO with a FMT transplant directly into the duodenum (the first part of the small intestine).

Makes more sense for me because I do have fatty liver based on ultrasound and MRI. Just got a liver biopsy but still waiting on results. I just want to heal and be strong again and be able to eat food and enjoy it again

I’ve been doing mega sport for two years but one thing that has helped me and I just excreted a 2 foot long rope worm parasite was coffee enemas. I also add a little bit of Megasporebiotic into the coffee enema so that I have the benefits of the coffee enema and the spore base probiotics to replenish and replace any pathogenic bacteria that are killed and removed with the colonic
EDIT: UPDATE: I had to stop all probioitcs and start Nutricidin by Nutradyn BIOFILM disrupter for 8 essential oils to really see results. The biofilm and leaky gut was so bad that I couldn't wait for megaspore to work.
UPDATE EVEN LATER!!! HAD TO GET ON BILE SUPPORT!!! BILE IS SO KEY FOR SIBO! I WILL START OX BILE SOON! Going to JustinHealth as my practitioner now. He is working on enzymes, HCL and BILE!!!!!!!! I am so hoping for a miracle! This has been living hell for years.
I have had GI map and had citrobacter and proteus, just like Kiran said at 25:00. God is good > thank you God for good natural medicine and natural doctors!
Pro tip. my mom has been on megaspore only for a year or more, her bacillus was overgrown on her GI map. Take cation with it. Dose was one capsule every day for a year. She also had Bad CANDIDA AND STAPH,STREP overgrowth. Megaspore alone IS NOT ENOUGH. and I wish I wouldnt have ever believed it was! iT IS GOOD but MUST BE DONE WITH EVERYTHIHG ELSE. See a good gut doctor and dont die like i almost did last year!
