Years ago I purchased a Belkin remote control operated power strip that has two always on outlets and the rest can be shut off. My electric bill in my apartment was about 120 and it went down into the 30s. Similarly, there are shut off outlets,!so with the flick of a switch, you can shut off your microwave power (or other appliance) it’s a basically a kill switch.

Kyra, I had to tell you about a past video you did where you suggested we try putting mandarin oranges on our pizza. Well, I tried it on a cheese pizza and OMG😵it was amazing! The oranges melted into the pizza and was so good. I used mandarins in a cup made for lunches. Thank you for the tip! Everyone needs to try it!
Yea I still cook everyday, I use to bake everyday as well (for the channel) but my work schedule got a little hectic so I decided to lay off the baking for now. Crazy thing is my bill was still very low even with baking and cooking. I guess it depends what electric source we have as well and how much the delivery fee is.

I feel so stupid!!! I've paid for Xfinity hotspot for my laptop on and off. Just set up my mobile hotspot on my laptop. GENIUS! It works out as my daughter may have to do school online and now I don't have to worry about spending $54.99 a month! 🙌

Nina K Maybe put a bold-colored sticky note? Like “reminder: unplug microwave after use :)” or if you don’t want to make it seem like it’s targeted towards them you can casually put “note to self: unplug the microwave to save $$” :D
When I moved (almost 4 years ago) I saved about 14k while I was at home. 3,500 went to my first, last month,rental insurance, deposit. Along with me purchasing a new vehicle a year later. So that money I saved from living at home is long gone, and Now I’ve just been saving every penny I can in order for me to have back up Incase anything happens. When moving out it’s always good to have back up money because of other surprise expenses.

I definitely could start unplugging a lot of things just not everything like our fish tank and my husband's things/gaming stuff. I also recently purchased a Berkey as our water filter. :)

Coconut oil is what I use to moisturize my skin and remove my makeup. Plus I can use it for cooking too 😁
