    Every time i see Mr. Nitin Gadkari ji he speaak about his development and india development. He never focus to other party and criticizing, he is focused on his work. I like this. These kind of visionary leaders are required in India.

    Gadkari sir, “Road Safety” must be made as a subject in school and college education.

      Talking of road safety, take the example of Pune Mumbai expressway/ highway where it is supposedly mandatory for HMVs to play on the extreme left lane. This rule is wantonly broken with all three lanes being occupied by HMV's with none giving passage to 4 wheelers. Honking to allow for overtaking is merely ignored by the HMV drivers. The ghat sections are devoid of any traffic police presence and there always a free for all. Added to this is the rash driving by the rich on Mercedes and BMWs by changing lanes without signaling.HMVs parking on highways for whatever reasons inspite of parking bays provided is also a major nuisance.

    I spend my 60yrs without road, but angrezi anchor never exposed congress for their disability, who made us suffer ,but anchor skip and jump to accidents, instead for more needful roads.

    The interviewer starts with Gd morning Namsakar Aaadab ..he cld have used other greetings also to show how secular he is ...seriously no where in the world in a business world channel they say adaab other than a Islamic countries...but Indians have to bend backwards to showcase inclusivity.....😮😊

    Building roads is good but improving railway and freight corridors is more important. Road freight is 5-8 times expensive than railway.. this does not help businesses and india competitiveness... in 1950 railway contributed 75%, in 2022 road transport is 75%..
    Diesal import and environment impact is increasing since railway network has not significantly improved
    Media kindly research and ask the right questions to the govt. It seems anchor is mouth speak of govt.. lazy media..zero research and preparation for interview

      I remember in my childhood, it used to take 4 hours to reach my village from local railway station, such was the road condition. now it takes only 45 minutes. This is not only saving of 3 hour 15 minutes of time or petrol but also reduction in ticket price, more options other than outdated state buses, and mental peace.
      So i don't mind paying INR 40 for toll if i am driving my car for good roads. anyways if u r travelling by public transport, tolls hardly matter as it get distributed among all passengers and add just 1 rs per passenger.
      So my point is - either pay for good roads or travel more hours in khatara bas. choice is yours

    Blindly copying US will not work for India.
    New road infra will also require additional fuel. Public transport is essential.
    Multiple level transport should be built on acquired land, with trains on lower level and vehicles on upper level.

      That won't last. Few kms of multilevels are okay. Highway lengths are not possible.

      Massive public transportation system is the only sustainable option for a poor country which imports almost all of its oil.

    We need infra worth $800b and we have only created Infra of only $100b in 10 years that too after taking 65% funding based on future repayments.
    Mr. Gadkari, how will you address and bring in funding for the other $700b of pending infra projects upto 2047 if you make it debt driven

      You keep on muliplying the vehicles without control then you will sit and run the family only in the car instead of house For each and every aspect there should be a control It is Easy to double the size or triple the size of the road It is not infrastructure It is billing You can put the road anywere by drawing a line on the pencil For this education is not required I think you are an illetrate in this
