I rarely comment, to tell the truth. This is only the 5th comment that I make to a video, apart from replies. However, I should say this is the most helpful video on applying the Lenz's Law. I looked at my textbook before, and I couldn't understand well. I thought at first that it was because as a year 11 (IG) student, it's too far to study year 13 (A2) stuff. However, after I looked at this video, I suddenly feel that I'm confident on doing lots of questions on electromagnetic induction. You really give lots of things that the textbook doesn't give. You are so warm-hearted that you provide free service, just to help the students struggling or feeling difficult to understand these topics. Thank you so much!

thank you so much for not removing or reducing information from this video, this has been so helpful and you really don't know how much we love you (especially freaks like me who are terrible at mathematics and physics)
Awesome I really enjoying watching your lectures am not used to feel stress or boring as in class when teacher talk too much. For are really teacher who any students required for his or her future professional.
I missed two weeks of class and had no idea how I was gonna cover this topic. You literally made me understand it properly in 2 hours... thinking of just dropping college and doing independent study
Thank you for your Physics videos. I really couldn't find better problem solutions when i looked it for in my main language. So i showed you my appreciation with like and subscribe.(And my poor English :D )
Yeah, Faraday's Law of Induction states that the induced EMF in a circuit is directly proportional to the rate of change of MAGNETIC flux. ΦB typically refers to magnetic flux and you'll see that used in the equation.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! What you do is a service to the world brother I have been racking by brain for 2 days trying to figure some of this stuff out with an AARL handbook to no avail my brain feels like jelly and you just dropped gold in my lap. Any good books that you would recommend on further study of Electromagnetics, Chemistry, Math and Engineering?
I always use the screwing bottle cap rule to figure the direction of the magnetic field generated by the current. In wich way do you have to turn the cap to go in the way of the current? If you turn it to right it will go into the page and so on. Pretty cool rule if you ask me.
Guy my exams is tomorrow. I came today watch a one hour video, solve some past questions. And boom I'm moving out with an A in electromagnetic and modern physics
Examples 28:18 and 29:03 are kind of confusing. The magnetic fields for each wire is on a different axis, I don't see how it does anything to oppose the other. Unless the circles are supposed to be along the same axis of the first wires magnetic field, which wasn't specified.
I watched this video last night and I thought it was confusing. Today I did some research and it seems like you could just say the following, "When current goes through a wire it creates a magnetic field. If you cut off the power, the collapsing magnetic field creates a voltage, that wants the current to keep going the same direction. Since it wants to keep going the same direction, the change in current turning off is a gradual change. Since coils create a bigger magnetic field, a bigger inductor makes the change in current flow slower." Isn't that the same thing?
