Thank you for your Amazing work 💯 🥰🙏🏻🐞 I am glad I typed in what do ladybugs eat 😀 and not ladybirds, I never understood why birds 🤔 they don't have birds becks and claws nothing like a bird, but why call them lady's when there's mail bugs? . I have had a lot of ladybugs land on my windows, not seen this many for years.
What do they like to drink? Today I found a ladybug and I tried to make it a good place to live I added grass, small plants as trees, wood for it to climb Also, how do you lure aphids in if you don't have a garden?
Ladybugs like to drink water, but don’t put the water in a bottle cap because it would increase the risk of drowning. Instead, you can soak up droplets of water with a paper towel and it will drink it from there. Ladybugs can also eat other things like apples, grapes, dates, raisins, honeydew, and honey itself. Hope this helped!
What a sweet and informative video. Thank you. Question: Do ADULT ladybugs eat? Some say only the newborns (well the ones that look like a crocodile) are the crazy-eating ones and that the adults don't eat at all.
I just got a ladybug it's orange and I don't know I'm not sure if it's a girl or a boy I will try to send you a picture but I don't know how so you can help me because tomorrow I'm going to get him like some leaves because if I get him some leaves I can see if it's a girl or not but I'll text him this video to see if it's a girl and thank you for helping me that cuz I let him out on my hand and he starts to crawl around a lot and thank you for saying let him out and not because it was really nice of you to do that because at first I got a ladybug and I did not know what to feed them but can they eat oranges I was just wondering that because I cut him a little bit and he didn't eat it at all but right now he's good and he has three white eyes he has like one of his forehead and two right here bye bye will you know where your eyes are like there's two white things right there is he dangerous cuz if he's dangerous then I'm going to let him spray but if he's not into then I'm going to keep him for a little bit to see if he has eggs and since I already got one I think if they have babies I think I'm going to have 101 so thank you
Hi Jaliyah, thanks for watching. That's awesome you found a ladybug. Usually, ladybugs like to eat other insects like aphids, mites, or similar in your area. If you have any plants that have a bunch of bugs on them, send your ladybug over there and they'll have a great time. Take care.
Do they come out of the fridge dormant? I'm worried all the ones I have are dead. I bought them today in the afternoon and kept them in the fridge for 5 hours
Pls post again I need tips. I have ladybugs in my house. My mom passed recently and she used to call me her ladybug. it was only a few months ago that she passed. After she passed my house became infested with ladybugs. I need to keep them alive. I feed them honey water and occasionally fruit flies. If you have any tips on what else I can do pls tell me. They're too cute to die.
I do not even kill them indoors no matter which species....as they all aggressively consume; aphids, all manner of mites like dust mites, and many other pests. I do miss seeing the blood red German variety I'd play with decades ago, but the harmonia aka asian variety are most aggressive hunters of each type.
@@GrowingInTheCity Lol shut up. That means you've eaten lady bugs lol 😂 Any sort of way I can keep lady bugs on my planter collection by my back door? I feel like they'll leave right away...
Besides the tips I mentioned, the next best thing would be to release about 1/4 container per night and let them out gradually over a few days. Obv some will fly away but ideally some will leave eggs and create some more 🐞 🐞.
Thanks for watching! hard to say for sure...could be many reasons - if its near a window, my first thoughts would be as a water source, or food source, or for light/warmth. They prefer bugs over crumbs, though.

Hi. What ladybug larvae can eat apart the aphids? Like fruit or other non animal sources of food. Can't find much about it on the internet. Cheers

Love ladybugs.....hate aphids. Great video
Yes it’s definitely a love/hate relationship with those two!
I've got ladybugs chomping up my new Hubbard squash leaves and am confused by it... I thought they only at aphids. Any advice?
Do they come out of the fridge dormant? I'm worried all the ones I have are dead. I bought them today in the afternoon and kept them in the fridge for 5 hours
Update: they were all dead lmao. It was hot outside when I bought them. The Lowes had them outside in the heat

I HAVE A LADYBUGS TODAY🐞
hello... I didn't find any direct info about ladybirds eating immature true bugs or their eggs... do you know something about this?
What is an immature true bug?
What do ladybugs look like when they are grow ups
I do not even kill them indoors no matter which species....as they all aggressively consume; aphids, all manner of mites like dust mites, and many other pests.
I do miss seeing the blood red German variety I'd play with decades ago, but the harmonia aka asian variety are most aggressive hunters of each type.
