Do you have a mini amp for your vacations already?
I have the NuX and the Katana. Maybe the Katana sounds a little beter but I always end up using the NuX most of the time.
What about yamaha TR5 and TR10?
I love that you do the sound demo with both the mic and the camera mic. Helps give the in-person sound
Laney's sound is amazing, so natural and organic, when You play at the edge of top volume is incredible
Great review, very good overview, helped me pick (the Blackstar). Grazie mille!
Yes, I agree the Fly 3 is a very good speaker .... I have one and once I start playing it with my guitar don't want to stop !!!
Спасибо, мужик. Помог с выбором.
You answered the concerns I had about digital interface complexity on the Laney. Maybe the Blackstar is a better (and simpler) option for those like me who hate messing and endless choices.
Thank you for the comparison! I will be buying my first mini amp and was so confused! Especially b/w the orange crush and blackstar. But the audio comparisons really helped and based on your feedback I guess I'll try the blackstar. Thanks 🤘
You're welcome man
@@TheGuitalian What are your thoughts b/w the Boss Katana and Blackstar Fly?
i have the Blackstar Fly 3 and I am very happy with it. Sounds great for a small/mini body amp. I have considered buying the Katana Mini but when I plug into my little Blackstar Its just that good. I've considered getting the external speaker to go with it for stereo sound and all that. But when I plug into it and play, it's like why bother, it's just right on it's own. The Orange has kind of peaked my interest as well.
I'm thinking use my processor with speaker but some people says it's not enough for instrument. My main concern is little size. I just want to have a little not so loud any speaker for my processor. I just don't want to hear muffled sound.
Either blackstar or a boss Katana .. both are equal for me.. both are for heavy music and also clean type music .. for practice and exercise sessions.. and jam with freinds. In room . Mini amps are better than big amps.. because bigger amps cannot output clean and clear tone in low volume.. ots always gotta be an open plaza like the streets and complex area in cities..
nux mighty lite mk2 is the best practise amp i have ever used. It has noisegate, drive, amp, modulation, reverb and delay like a multieffects, and the sound is also fine when compare with other mini amps.
What other small amps have you tried?
@@joshball8674 blackstar, orange, fender, marshall ms2/ ms4
I’m trusting you! planning to order this amp with my first guitar soon.
Hi thanks for the effort it took to make this good video. Two miles was a great idea. BTW what camera mike are you using it was so similar to the SM57 at the beginning I noticed.?
Nice playing too.
I choosed to go for the Nux.
Because I think that for this kind of amps sound quality is not everything.
The possibility to practice with headphones, using phone with back tracks and metronome, and powered with a 9v external source (or a USB powerbank!!!)that can also power some switch is a no brainer IMHO
how did you like it?
@@samanthatopia I loved it but I moved to the new version, the bt mkII, because of the additional features.
But the first version still great
i bought the Fly 3. Surpassed all expectations, small dimensions, light weight, great tone and surprisingly long battery life. The only thing to remark is the use with effect pedals has to ensure a proper voltage environment in order to prevent loud buzz noises. Or the pedel better to use with battery only. But i think this is a general matter with every battery amp together with ac driven pedals.
Indeed i notice the same issue. To solve this I bougth the official blackstar power supply for the fly 3. It appears to be ground connected and the hum using A/C powered pedals disapears when I use it.
3:00 Laney
5:03 Orange
07:34 Katana
10:27 Nux
14:14 Blackstar
What song you play on the clean part? Or your improvisation?
Boss and Blackstar both carry a big reputation for practice amps. However I like the Daneletro Honeytone amp as well. Even without all the features of the other two.
Thx bro
This is a good video
Try the Donner mini Cyclops.📻🎸🤘
I have the blackstar and I am very happy with it. Really good sound. I am considering for next year (for vacation!) to buy a headphone amp (nux mighty plug maybe?). Thanks for the video! All these mini amps have something nice.
Thanks for your comment!
Try the Blackstar with a equalizer pedal. It will change the sound completely for better.
Are you wearing the Casio a158w?
indeed I am :D
@@TheGuitalian Nice! I have one too. My friends disagree, but I think it's the most badass watch a metalhead can wear!! \m/
Best sounding amp in my opinion, are the Spark Amps. They are outstanding! I have all 3, the Spark 40, the Spark Mini, and the Spark Go. Highly recommend you check out these amps!
Which one would you recommend between the Spark Mini and the Spark go?
Spark 40 with battery 🔋 best TalentCell lithium ion Battery Pack NB7102
Blackstar seems to have more natural drive
It kind of does
Being a pre-bluetooth person I prefer the idea of an amp not having bluetooth lol
