    Thanks John, great video again. Some of us with single propulsion (Mercruiser V8 on a a Sea Ray) appreciate the guides using stern drive only.

    Ok now try docking with other engine (port engine) into a tight slip. The demonstration here is easy compared to having to do it with the port engine and having lost power steering. That's the situation I will have to deal with in a few hours. The engine I lost is the one that controls power steering.

      I had the same problem you had.
      I have twin Volvo penta TAMD41 and lost the PORT engine which controls the hydraulic power steering.
      The boat kept going forward and backwards the same direction, so I asked a small rubber boat to push me to the slip.
      What should I do if it happens again?

      @@muradshhadeh9020 The only other thing to do is call SeaTow. Otherwise you're stuck.
