You are fortunate you can find video game merchandise at Goodwill in Oregon. I have gone to Salvation Army and Goodwill stores in my area for years and there are never any video games or merchandise for sale at those places. When I asked why they never have any video games at the Salvation Army and Goodwill stores the woman at the cash register told me the employees always take them immediately from the donations and take them home and sell them on eBay or Craig's list. One time I went to a Thrift store and they had a Super Mario World SNES cart with a faded label. It had a price tag of $100 on it. When I asked why it was so much money a person working at the store said that is the price because those old video games are rare and very valuable. I told them that game was worth no where near that and they told me to get out of the store. Another time I was at a swap meet and a dealer had a Super Nintendo game console with no AC cord or AV input cord and they had it priced at $500. Dealer told me those old video game machines are worth a fortune and it was a bargain at $500. Living near Los Angeles sucks. Any place that has old video games like a swap meet or thrift store says immediately they are very rare and valuable and ask unreasonable prices for them.Just another reason why Los Angeles is the worst city in the country to live in. Even yard sales are a waste of time. I went to one where a woman was selling her son's old video games because he moved out years ago and never picked them up. She had 5 Super Nintendo games without boxes, just carts, and wanted $750 for them. When I asked why so much she said she knew these old video games were worth a fortune.

We actually share a lot of the same interests all the way from music to games. My gf and I watch the blogs daily and I hope he only gets a couple years. I just think 15 is a little crazy.

I think he’s barely in those guidelines, he’s being charged with a Felony B and Felony C, however he’s on the cusp of just a Felony C and a Grand Larson Charge which would’ve been 10 years max time served. Unless the judge is very very harsh there’s no way he will get 15 years. Typically with cases like this in this area the time served is 3-5 years for similar charges. I personally hope he does get a few years which gives him a time to think about his choices and possibly turn his life around for the better. Maybe get into a work program and get a fresh start on life, it’ll be hard for him but not impossible
I definitely agree that he needs to do a couple years. I really hope this person can turn there life around. On a funny note though I also hope he caught them all in that copy of pokemon red he took lol.
