    Getting a STRATOCASTER to compliment and complete it!

    That was an immaculate demonstration. What a presentation of a fantastic piece of kit. I think Positive Grid should be very worried. I’ve got a Spark which is a very good amp but that Nu-x is just so much more in every department.

    Dearest Dave, I once heard 1 of my heros say. It's not how fast or quick you play. The magic lies between the notes hidden deep under the melody. That my friend is you. Oh BTW that hero is a man named Richie Blackmore 👏

    The best solos are melodic - David Gilmour, Alex Lifeson, Dave Simpson. I can't stand fast just for the sake of fast. The solo is just as important as the vocal melody - the guitar is another voice in the song! This is a beautiful example of how a guitar solo is supposed to sound.

    Great review, Ive just bought the Nux Space Echo pedal which Im very happy with, I want to double it up with their duotime pedal for that granular ambient vibe. But there are definitely features of this amp that make it very desirable, the interface along with being able to control set yr parameters fx etc and footswitch too.
    I was quite impressed with their mg100 capabilities for the money this seems like an evolution. Its great to have one amp which seems to do it all...
    Love your playing you are an inspiration..

    Good gravy sideways! When you did the distortion I was like ‘Hell YES’! It was perfect and you didn’t have to fiddle with a bunch of pedals to get it right. The shimmer was crazy kewl. I think I do indeed need one of those. I hope it has a headphone jack so my neighbors don’t start screaming at me and I have to find out how much loop time it records. BTW my Fender Champion 100XL came with a footswitch but it’s not a desktop size amp as you know. I can have a whole lot of fun with this amp. 👍☮️🌞🎸🎶❤️

    These amps today are just getting crazy! in a good way, so much for your money thats for sure. Always room out there for lower tech amps too, being an old git I am still a sucker for just having front panel dials to muck about with and a trusty old pedal board. That said these littel amps pack a punch and do so much more I can see why they are so popular. Great demo Dave as always thank you!

    I suppose it was only a matter of time before NU-X ripped of the Yamaha THR30II and added more stuff. Yamaha should really be giving the same in terms of extras. If they did that they would get a greater buy in from people wanting a small desk top amp for home use. Include the BT dongle, foot and that would swing it. I am lucky and have the THR so no need to jump ship. Both great units that I would lime Dave to shoot out sometime soon.. 🤟🇦🇺

    NUX tone tip: their MG-300 unit has a UBER amp model that is amazing on top of their native Hiwatt Cab Impulse response. When I upgraded to the MG-30, I was disappointed that the Hiwatt cab sim was not there anymore. But I found custom Hiwatt IRs on the net and uploaded them to the MG-30. Their amp modelling is killer.

    Did he just say, "butter me sideways"?????? 😮 Yes I believe he did - OH - I see, must be a British thing - they can get a bit weird at times, true this is, but they do do some things quiet wonderfully like say conquering far away lands and high tea with Walkers Short Bread Rounds, utterly stupendous. Once when in London, we stopped in at Rubens, 39 Buckingham Palace Rd, London - that was a Bucket List experience, not a full blown 10 level Bucket , I'd say about a 7+, the ambiance was great, the vibe was Groovy baby, Very Groovy, Yeahhhh !

    This seems to me to be a very new product and is not readily available in the UK right now. Dave, you got one from Nux to demo, so lucky you. What you demo-ed was very impressive and sounded very good allowing for YT compression.
    Bearing in mind scarcity in the UK right now these appear to cost about the same as a Boss Katana 100 Mk2. For me that brings into question value for money? To be fair the Nux is a highly portable go-any-where home/studio practice amp and the Katana needs another £100 to buy its dedicated multi footswitch. Different amps for different purposes but I think, initially at least, the Nux is expensive. Longer term, it should reduce in price in all probability.
    Great demo, Dave - thank you.

    Since getting my Mighty Plug the other day, I've found you can pay various companies for patches and IRs. You need to use the PC/Mac software (which works the same, also serves as charging it while you do). But if you're a bit lazy there's some great options out there. York Audio make some very popular IRs - and I've also used Chop Tones and got their 80s pack which comes with 3 IRs and 10 patches.
    I think that's what I like most about the Mighty range - they all behave like much bigger modelling amps feature wise.

    To record into the zoom camera you can take the phones out of the amp and put that into the zoom aux in. I do that with the mighty air and the zoom q4 to record what comes through the mighty air. I also do that with the mighty plug.. you Simply need a 3.5 mm cable to go from the phones plug of the device to the aux in of the camera. Then to monitor the audio i use the phones plug of the zoom with some speakers and that way you can record everything without even plugging to the pc and have the video directly in synch with what ever comes from the nux device

    @GUIDESPERSPECTIVE ปีที่แล้ว

    I just came across your page while researching the Mighty Space. You are a legend. I instantly subscribed after your intro.
    So question. Have you busked this thing yet? I busk with a spark that I run from a battery bank and its just fine for me as a 40 Watt amp. I have a mighty air and fricking love it.
    This thing looks like an all in one with the exception maybe a few more watts and a bitt more battery life that could have supply out as to work as a battery bank for other pedals or toys that need power. WOuld be the ultimate if it could do that.
    I think an XlR in for a mic would be nice too that could access the FX seperately from the guitars FX would be super, mega good.
    So have you busked it? I've scrubbed the channel since this video but couldn't fine anything.

    Modern technology is turning amplification upside down these days. I've had this tiny little Blackstar ID core amp for several years now, there's something about the gain setting on the clean channel on that thing that does literal WONDERS for distortion pedals. I've probably told you about that already but still I can't stop going on about it. I like the sound I get out of that thing better than either of my Marshalls half the time. Further proof that you really don't need to spend a mint to get a decent sound, and as technology progresses, the truer that will be.

  • @christopherwatkins9729
    @christopherwatkins9729 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yes Dave... Modern technology is awesome and you are keeping up with it... To me (?) the NUX Mighty Space is a Huge Pedalboard built into ONE unit... ! with the foot-pedal and combined with the App, Triple Awesome !!! Yes... Thought you would plug into a bigger AMP and the combination was GREAT... The Oswald did its stuff... Am also thinking (?) for Busking (?) should be satisfactory... It occurs to me that if the lights "go out" for any reasons (forgot to pay power bill) then you still have charged Battery or your Acoustic Guitars... so you are in a Win/Win situation ! Over a cup of "T" check out the JOYO BSK-60 AMP for Acoustic Guitars . Weighs 14.2 kgs. and so not for the faint hearted. Similar technology as the NUX (Chinese Magicians) and I am coming to terms with it. Will 'probs' take me the rest of 2023 and more ! Have loads FUN 🎸 ... I am ! Thanks for the 'Jam' sessions... Really enjoyed... 🤠 ...

    Kind of expensive at $450 for 30 watts when you can get a 40 watt Positive Grid Spark for $250. You do miss out on the loop and foot pedal inputs on the Spark. But that is a lot of money for just a couple of extra input jacks IMO

      Horses for courses - this does plenty more than the Spark ie you can power a cab with it.

      No. Manual says 4/8/16 ok. 4 being the loudest, 16 being the quietest.

    Is this better than Katana 50 MKII if wattage is not a concern?
