Wow this technique is genius👍👍👍😍Works perfectly with the black and periwinkle...And simple it was...I am really happy how my hair turned out as a coloring beginner🤗😍
I like it better without blending solution. The solvent basically destroyed the gorgeous bright highlight you had going, but brilliant tutorial, as usual! You are an amazing teacher, Claire and a beautiful person.
How timely, I had just got to the point of deciding what colour to use on the Myka Jelina image I'm colouring, Hubby had already suggested black and I wanted bluish highlights. Your finished hair looks so glossy and shiny so I'm inspired to have a go. I'm using Polychromos, so I'm going to use Black and Indanthrene Blue for my image! Thanks Claire.
Great tutorial. I have a smaller set of Prismacolor pencils. I don't have periwinkle. Which other blues would you recommend as alternatives to use and still get the same kind of look you got in the tutorial? Also, I would love to see tutorials of other hair color combos.
Claire thank you for this video on how to make the hail look 3D. Would it be possible when you can do a tutorial on the other hair colors? It would help those of us who find doing a red head or brown hair challenging.
I am definitely going to buy this book and do this I like the colours you used .it really don't look like you have white I thought you'd used a light colour x
I really love your Cleopatra, Her hair are so Shiny and love the amazing look of it, your picture is already Gorgeous even if you are not finished yet so can't wait to seeen the final result and i would like to know which pencils colors have you take to gave this Beautiful Golf on the tips of Her Hair Please, Thank you Claire for the great tutorial!
Great tutorial, hope you don't mind me saying but I preferred her hair to be left with the natural white of the paper than using the solution over it. Lovely hair anyway. Tfs xo
Love this tutorial. I've been stuck on several pics from Jasmine's Mermaids book wanting to achieve this look. Being that I only own the 72 set of prismacolors, would you recommend using Indigo blue as a substitute? I also own the 72 set of Artezas.
Thank you so much, Claire - she is gorgeous! I love the black hair tip - it's wonderful!

Hi Claire, since you did this tutorial almost 3 years ago, is there anything you would change? Thank you so much for sharing!
Hi Keni, I might make the shine a bit less blocky but not really!
What other color of blue could you use, this is beautiful
Any of the more desaturated blues, maybe blue slate, blue Violet lake, etc.
@@ColourwithClaire thank you dear,I just love your channel, you do beautiful work,i have subscribed,😊

Indigo might be a bit dark but you could give it a test on a separate piece of paper x
Can you do more please 🙂😉😸
