With a live orchestra, it would have sounded amazing. Otherwise, I agree - it doesn't sound organic. Also, Shagrath's vocals are weak and Galder plays the second solo like an afterthought.
This song was meant to invite, at least Vortex, leaving aside the differences, this song without Vortex's voice and replacing it with a chorus is like they said "drink a warm non-alcoholic beer"
They used Vortex backing vocal track from the album and mix it with recorded choir I think. Which is better than they did back on Eonian Tour. But still the magic isn't there like they did back in the day when Vortex still in the band

I mean, why would they consider this song to be played live nowadays? It is clear for the whole world that this song was meant for Vortex. He used to kill it (twice in a single song) when they played it. It is still (and will always be) a great song but now the greatest feeling is the absence of something rather than to appreciate the great song it is.
Yeah the energy from the crowd was weak. Iirc last time I saw them before this (Tuska open air Helsinki 2019) it was even worse. At least they did a decent setlist this time, which I did not expect ngl. Wish they played The Night Masquerade, which is my favorite
