thank you......why can't my teacher explain it this clear, it took you under 7 min, it takes them 3 hours and we are all still confused. Thank you again
you don't know the reason ....... the reason is your teacher was not bad but because you have studied it for long time and now you are just listening from this video to things you already know then you think in the video its easy to understand. think if it was your first time could you really understand it in 7 minutes
@@Rahul_246a Really? You completely understand this? Okay, how does Sp2 related to the comparison population variance estimate? I'll give you a minute to google that.
I know it's been stated below countless times, but I'm saying it again for the record. Thank you, your videos are a gift from God and this has saved me days of frustration! Legend! :)
dood you explained it in 6 minutes and successfully made me understood it my statistic teacher taught if for over 4 hours and I didnt absove anything at all jesus christ you saved me from failing
Your videos really helped me out. My university books are just waste all this solutions is given in theoretical form even many steps are just skipped as they think people know already Thanks 🙏
Wow thank you so much for posting this. I am struggling in my stats class and I have spent HOURS trying to figure this out. Your video was THE BEST video out there with step-by-step protocols. Would you mind positing an example of how to do a 2-tailed independent samples t-test? I would really appreciate it!!!
i think u solved the problem for pooled version. But question did not mention about pooled variance. So; df= nsmall-1 is better for me. So after calculation should be solved with different standard deviations, not sp.
Im confused- In THIS video, to calculate t at a given alpha, you use df= (n1-1)+(n2-1). IN YOUR other video on the same topic- for calculating confidence intervals for independent variables you use the t-values based on the same alpha but the lesser of group 1 df (n1-1) OR df for group 2 (n2-1) These are going two be two grossly different distributions- one of these videos must be wrong, right?
thank you for your video, but you forgot to mention that the pool -t method works only if the ratio of the variance (greater over lesser) is less than 3.
can you tell me why you eliminated the mu symbols when you started your calculations? I am very confused about the difference between the sample and population mean and when you actually need them.
These are the population means, which are most likely the same because both classes are part of the "greater population of classes" . That means that the difference is 0. I was confused at first too, but this makes sense.
wrong again...... why are you taking 1 away which means that your are assuming this is a one tailed tests, but taking the value from the 2 tailed tests column.
For a two samples t test if it is not given whether the population variances are not equal or not. Then which formula do I have to use to find degrees of freedom
Hello, I have one question. It seems you are using Student's t-test for df calcultation. But ideally since the groups have different std deviation, Welch test should be used same applied to the formula of DF .
Oh it's y12 ago I have exam tomorrow and this is really help me alot thank you so much for it... its really easy like that but how you draw the bell shape I mean the X and y data?
Sir what is difference between Critical value and Critical Difference?? If my critical difference is more and i wants to reduce it then what are the ways to reduce it.
What would be the tabulated value of one tailed independent sample t test when alpha is 0.05 and any df Would it be divided by 2 and plotted from 0.025 one tailed region ? Kindly tell me plz
Some people are natural-born teachers, and you are one of them. Thank you very much and keep up the good work

Professors aren’t there to teach. They are there to make tenure and make money for the uni
You just explained to me a good portion of 4 weeks of my class. I thought I was going to blow my brains out. You were so precise and thorough.
straight, to-the-point, and exactly what i needed to know for my stats exam in an hour. THANK YOU. SO MUCH. FOR HELPING ME NOT FAIL THIS CLASS.
I know it's been stated below countless times, but I'm saying it again for the record. Thank you, your videos are a gift from God and this has saved me days of frustration! Legend! :)
Kinda confused you didnt said on your video how did you get the 49
11 years later and he's still a life saver.
I was stuck in a t-test for a long time, and this clip helped me to be delighted. thank you so much.
YOU ARE HONESTLY AMAZING!!! Seriously my lecturer was so crap but I understand this now 100%!!!
I adore you right now for making such a well organized and easy to understand video!! Thank you!!
EXAM IN 4 HOURS! YOU SAVED MY LIFE!
omg, i've been struggling with this in class for the past week and now i understood it in 5 minutes -_- thank u!!
this may be old but it's saving my life rn
This has been the most helpful channel of videos, Thank you for helping me pass the only course I still need to graduate uni!!
Thanks for driving this point home! U made it very easy to understand.
YOU ARE MY HERO!!! MY PROFESSOR SPENT THREE WEEKS ON THIS AND I DIDNT UNDERSTAND IT> YOU SPENT 7 min AND I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND IT. THANK YOU

At least your Professor spent three weeks teaching you this, my facilitator only had a few hours, only a day.
It helps to understand the "one tail" test to call the "alternative", the "Research Hypothesis", or what you desire to PROVE.
I found this video the most helpful, I've ever seen, thank you very much, now I can understand what needs to be done.
Thank you for posting this my professor didn't explain it like this in class...
Thank you so much. I have been struggling with this. So grateful.
Brilliantly clear explanation - thanks so much!
Really helped me out man, really appreciate it. I have an exam in 2 days and this video definitely took some weight off my shoulders. Thanks so much
Thank you sir,It was good to know about it in this manner, otherwise I have had learned this in clear unfavourable way by our teachers
Great explanations . Beautiful to hear
Very clear explanation 👏💗
OMG ! Thank you so much ! I was about to drop out of my stupid class.. Why can't they explain it like this?? BLESSINGS !!
I wish I found you last night. I already lost my grade in this question. Thank you!
THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS! Life saver

shouldnt we use a heterogeneous df formula, since the samples are different
short and sharp and you help me alot thanks for your video
Fantastic explanation. Thanks a lot!
Thanks very much it was quite helpful
i never understood this during undergrad. just did in under 7mins. My heartfelt gratitude Sir!
Great video 👍

saved my ass son!
This is amazingly well explained. Thank you.
Wow this is great! I wish this person was my professor instead 😭
Great concised presentation.
Many thanks!

Thanks you're a life saver!
Very concise.
thank you so much
I found this video extremely helpful! thanks alot!
This is great....Awesome explanation. Understood evry bit! Thank you...xoxo
How is it possible i was 3 when this video was made😌😂😂
Wow... Thank you so much...
Your actually.....A BOSS
Thank you, so clear
I love this
Ahh... I understand it better. Thank you!
Thanks for the good knowledge but your method for finding sp2 is quite longer ....why can't you just do square standard deviation values
This was very helpful.

Thank you very much much! Did you make a video about Welch test? (when the variances are different)
amazing videos! any way we can donate to support the channel?
You must use another rule not the pooled variance
Please why did you use pooled variance when the question actually did not state that the variances are equal
wrong again...... why are you taking 1 away which means that your are assuming this is a one tailed tests, but taking the value from the 2 tailed tests column.
thanks very much
greatt!!,,very helpful for my thesis!

Nice sir, keep it up
Since the population variance is different between the two, should we use Welch's T test instead??
You rock! Thanks!
