The cloaks ARE good quality. They are thick and warm and they have a hidden wand pocket.
Plus their normal pockets are REALLY deep

Don’t know if anyone has mentioned already, but the ‘college’ kind of sweatshirt with the different houses, can also be bought at The Harry Potter Studio Tour at Warner Brother’s Studios in London. Lots of the same items can be purchased as it’s all Warner Brother :)

I know this video is old, but TH-cam was streaming away and I'm new to your channel, so I hadn't seen it. I just had to say that yellow was my favorite color when I was 4. Then not again until I became an obsessed Hufflepuff at age 40 (now 41). Hahahaha. As in, started obsessively buying merch. I've been a fan for a while. I even seek out Hufflepuff colored clothes that aren't Harry Potter affiliated so I can low-key represent.
In the UK the tax is already added on to the price of items to purchase so we don't need to calculate how much its actually going to cost when we pay.
so I'm a little worried about buying stuff in universal when I go. What's the percentage of tax added? Is it like 5/10%? Or does universal already include the tax?

The cloak looks so amazing! Makes me want to go get one too and buy a mannequin so I can just stare at it all day! I wouldn’t wear it at all either and that’s what kind of holding me back. It’s a lot of money for something I’ll never ever wear 😕

Okay anyone can answer, but I’m a Hufflepuff as well and of course a huge Harry Potter fan. I’ve been interested in buying the screen play accurate scarf, tie, and cardigan for Hufflepuff. I figured for Halloween I’d go as a Hufflepuff student too, so is it worth getting the robe or can I pull of the look without the robe?
you can for sure pull it off with the robe!! I was a slytherin student two years ago and pulled it off without the robe! Still looks super good 💛

I should’ve watched this before I sent my mom my Christmas List, however she might get me a cloak. By the way, I got one of the interactive wands but it doesn’t work when I try. My friends called me a muggle but luckily I wasn’t a big fan of it (yeah I really got a wand before watching any of the HP stuff) so it didn’t effected me but now I think my wand is broken. I haven’t been to Universal for a long time because you know..

Loved your haul, though I do have to say bar the interactive wand and butterbeer tankard (we have a smaller cup) you can get all those clothes and alot more unique things from the Warner brothers studio tour in London. If im correct we actually get these items first and then the the US. If you haven't already you need to go to London and see the actual set, to say its magical is an understatement . It will knock your socks off.

When you do go if i were you i'd google school holidays in the uk, because if you go when everyone is still in school its not so hectic and busy (less queuing ) . Oh and Hogwarts at Christmas is unbelievable! Just bring lots of money as the shops are not cheap.

Just took family for first trip to Hogwarts Hollywood. So hard to decided on what to buy. In the end I had to settle on an official Ravenclaw robe. Although I already had one my wife made for me for our trip, I still had to buy an official robe.

I legit am torturing myself. I went to the wizarding world back in 2012 when there was only Hogsmead, but I want to go back for the second part of the park and to finally buy my Hufflepuff uniform. I plan on going fill out: robe, scarf, cardigan (which apparently are authentic meaning they are from the same manufacturer that created them for the movie), and tie! I’m super excited!
