I recommend the -30% stamina reduction perk. I got stamina for days. He isnt even 120 and he wrecks everything. Some of the later bosses have longer animations and combos. Youll need a lot of stamina to be able to capitalize on openings after didging for 5 hit combos. Also, when you have a tribesman doing an expensive job, like making bad ass armor or smelting 500 iron ingots. It is better to do it yourself because if you look on the tooltip, you get mask/awareness and character/proficiency experience from that job. But if you are not "controlling" that tribesman, you get no mask and awareness experience. So whenever i smelt I AFK as my kion guy, so i get more tech points and level up my mask. When i have a new warrior i want to level ip, i send him to mine iron and smelt it, even though i have a kiln huy, inwant the warrior to level up faster. Having a level capped character makes you much stronger. I solo everything with my starting character until after the Ape, then i grinded out a red diamond master warrior and he had "... Force" - 30% stam reduction. And he was 10 levels higher than my main character and was 100% faster movement speed because i get 5 stacks of 30% movement speed when i dodge, and another 5 stacks when i use a melee weapon. Grinding out a good tribesman is well worth it, but automation isnt always good to do if you want experience

One thing you might have overlooked is the crafters levels can be put into perception for faster crafting speed as well. Your Triad shows it has 33 points available that's like 16% faster crafting if put into perception

just lost my favorite tribesman was 120 gauntlets but had a perk that gave 25% chance to heal for 30% of his attack power. Flint tribe raided the claw tribe as i was leveling him at the claw barracks and swarmed him :/ so far that heal was my favorite perk ive seen.

Is there anyway you could do all the weapons talents showcase and test?

Yeah the taming is very overwhelming at times. I was trying to find a perfect combat one with weapon master perk and had over 100 dual blade and hammer plus other good perks and dont get me started on the golden mastery ability rolls lol I gave up and just found a decent one with 120 dual blades for boss killing and 120 hammer guy for dungeons. found a 60%/75%xp perk 120 armorsmith for my steel armor making and still looking for a weapon one but yeah its a lot to manage..

Getting the best of the best tribesmen takes ages, I would suggest focusing on Armor and Weaponsmiths to start, make sure to level them up by controlling them - doesnt take too long. You'll get new talents as you do. I have one with 120+ Weapon and Armorsmithing with Tier 3 talents for both adding 30% chance for better quality items. She never crafts anything but legendaries now :D

speed generally only matters for end game in crafting... geting your crafters to 30/60/90/120 and perk'n the proficiency to craft corresponding craft bone, bronze, iron and steel to get reds and yellows consistently. then adding mods, all mods stack just visually change the picture. You're going to be "taming" from camp to camp as you work your way to the highest starting lvl camps. esp on your fighters. Your green perks are randomly added over time, you get 3.

They also learn skills as they level up and work as well as lose negative skills.

I don't know the conditions but I captured a claw craftsman with 120 armorsmith but with a lot of red/negative talents (dimwited, clumsy, etc.) but overtime it seems to have removed and even got new talents as it keeps working.

And playing on a private server and custom settings is a good idea, I tried to play online but servers are laggy, players build everywhere and I lost some god rolled tribeman cause of server crashes.

the max prof level matters more than the perks (since you will gain a new one every 10 levels) the perfect crafter though is 120 with the tribe exclusive such as 10% better quality of crafter armor perk from the flint tribe.

There is a google doc with every perk available, if you want to grind a particular "recruit". . . At the end of the day only the weapon and armor crafter is important, the other ones are.just bonuses. But a kiln guy at 120 is really awesome making 50% more ingots

but for crafting gear i would never pick speed i want qual % so the crafting lvl does matter becuase if i dont get a lvl 120 in weapon and armor then we lose the 7-10% on steel qual upgrade for red weapons

Flint has defensive exclusive perks , claw has offensive exclusive perks , i didnt see anything that could make flint crafting focused or claw combat , those depend on class . As for the speed perk , well depends what are you looking for . Making 200 stuff into 100 stuff in 1 hour / crafting speed / or making 200 stuff into 130-150 in 1.5 hour /output focus /. And proficiency lvl dosent only for the bonus at 30-60-90-120 , but also each lvl improves stuff like speed/output/input requirement/durab etc for each lvl by a smaller % . So at least for me that 30% extra speed is just a nice extra if i have it but nothing that i take over a 120+ tribesman , eventually they will finish everything while i am away , and if it is really urgent i double/triple up the crating benches .
