I've straight traumatized my kids by slipping on algea and falling down a waterfall! I fell face first and it was too slippery to even catch myself so I busted my face, slid over the edge, the water turned red from my blood! My kids were screaming for me! It was disastrous!! I still have facial scars and the park is forever known as "The Place Mom Fell Over The Waterfall" 🤣😂 thank God it didn't knock me out but I was concussed and slurred my words for a few days. Stay safe out there 🙏 I can still hear the crack of my face meeting rock 😬
A spillway is a passage for water to go over or around a dam, when the resivoir is full. It's pretty much what it sounds like a way for water to spill past the dam. In case anyone is unaware, if you fall into the area in front of the dam, you can be thrown into an area of water that just churns against the bottom of the dam, where you aren't going to be strong enough to swim up or out and will just continue to get pulled under and thrown against the dam, until it is over (and then it will still keep your body churning down there). It is extremely dangerous to swim around those kind of areas. Always be aware of those signs, to keep you from being pulled into danger.
I was on a college trip. We had stopped outside a shop and buying some things. To reach the side where shops were, we had to walk over slippery rocks. I told others to be careful while crossing and my dumbass slipped and fell, humiliating myself... 💀 I just wanted the ground to swallow me up 😭
I recently took boaters safety course and when I seen the danger sign about the spillway I was like oh heck naw, some more to less likely actually died in one of these videos
3:30 just a top you have a dolly with wheels that little platform it has can slide under it if you push the item you need move up very slightly. If your not worried about possible damage you can just slide it under with a little force.
