As I forgot to include a summary at the end, please find it here: Overall a great laser with the most amount of effects & grating wheels in one device the laser price class below $/€ 1000. Pros: - 5 different fx in one laser therefore suitable for any event f.e. as either a lounge laser with polar fx or for beam shows or for projections with the 3D module - Lots of control options and good auto programs + amazing DMX capabilities - Lots of build-in patterns and colors - Easy to install (weight and size) - Laser class 3B therefore not as harmful as class 4 lasers while still being bright - State of the art safety features (no single beams possible, interlock and key lock possibilities) - Briteq brand with good spare part availability in case something breaks Cons: - Build quality of the housing is on the cheap side (metal but a bit skinny) - Color reproduction not as clean and crisp as full analog lasers, especially green colors - Scan speed is sometimes too slow, big, complex patterns tend to flicker Any questions, please put them in the comment below, happy to help!
Do we really need to know its got a fan and an eye for hanging?: Why show video of looking at beam when its dangerous! Its a projector so it would be nicer to show what it projects!!!! SCAN SPEED AND LASER POWER WOULD BE MORE INFORMATIVE
Showing all patterns would render the video too long therefore showing the highlights of the 4 effects wheels + how the laser looks with haze. In terms of technical specs, it's a Class 3B RGB Laser with a total power of 480mW based on 80mW Green CW laser (λ = 532nm), 300mW Blue CW laser (λ = 450nm) and 100mW Red CW laser (λ = 638nm) and uses a uses 25Kpps scanners
Thanks a lot! I would give it a 8 out of 10, based on the versatility and amount of visual effects you can create with this laser. It's a great device, affordable with plenty of options especially for mobile djs like me :)
