FINALLY a tutorial showing how to use Perfect Pearl with very precise details. Soooooo appreciate your tutorial and now need to pull mine out and dust off and use. Your cards and tutorials are always amazing. Blessings.
Loved how you made these cards! I love perfect pearls, and to see how beautiful these cards turned out makes me want to try it!!!!! Thanks for the inspiration!!!
Love your cards. And just a tip for your glitter piece. You can clear emboss over it and it wont shed :) (you will have to dedicate an embossing pad to that though as it get dirty)
I honestly never saw your cards as specifically holiday related. They just look like everyday, albeit winter-looking, cards. Anyway, I do love how they came out! I haven't used Perfect Pearls in ages. I'll really have to get them out to play again. I also have 2 sets of a different pigment powder that I got at Michael's. They don't set up as easily as Perfect Pearls, but I got a small bottle of gum arabic medium to use with them. Still haven't opened the bottle. :P But now, I am inspired! :) I'm in kind of the same boat as far as craft stores go. The closest to us are Michael's & Hobby Lobby, and they're also about 30 miles away. We do have a JoAnn's that is a bit closer, but not by much. Of course, I have been known to make a special trip if I really needed something specific--and it was on sale! Once, I needed a particular color of cardstock to finish an order of cards, and that was the last day Hobby Lobby had their Paper Studio stuff on sale that week. (And this was before it was an every-other-week sale thing.) So yeah--I went! LOL It was more than just one or two sheets, though, so it was worth it. Anyway, thank you for sharing your beautiful artwork, Lindsay! Take care, & have a marvelous day! :)
Living out of the way is so inconvenient sometimes! But I deal so my kiddos can be in a good school district! I'm curious to hear how the Michaels pigments work! I may need to make a trip and check them out!!
Great question! Because even though in the video it looks as if I have this all planned out, I never do! I never know exactly what parts I will be using of the image. I rotate and twist the stamp before I stamp it to decide which part I want to use and what I think looks best. Unfortunately, I just don’t have the time to plan every card out and make one before I film the video. But if you know what part you are going to use, only ink up that portion of the stamp. With editing it’s amazing what you can cut out!
Fabulous! Thank you. I am late to the Perfect Pearls party, and I really appreciate this tutorial.

Lovely cards....Love Perfect Pearls
They're soo fun!! Thank you so much!!!
Why do you ink the whole stamp each time if you are just using small areas of it (of the pine tree)?
