Wow nice Trucks
The German people have such an eye for perfection and detail that makes their models such a pleasure to watch. As a modeler in my youth back in 1950's and 60's, we could only dream of what is seen here on this video. There was an American company then by the name of "Ulrich" that had some very good 1/87 scale, static, die-cast metal, tractor-trailer trucks. These models had excellent detail for their time, but they were nothing to compare with what you have here. The Greyhound bus shown here was a particular delight to watch as I remember riding in the full-sized vehicle for many long distance trips back in the day. These buses actually had twin, two-cycle Detroit Diesel engines driving the rear wheels through a manual transmission; the weight of the vehicle along with air cushioned suspension made the trip over rough roads more pleasurable as this was a time where the Interstate Highway System had not been completed. Thanks for sharing this video.

Tolles video! Ich habe da mal eine Frage, woran liegt es das manche Fahrzeuge so ruckartig anfahren? Es kommt mir so vor, als würden die Fahrzeuge nur auf Vollgas fahren, oder stoppen.
That depends of type of motorcontroller, the way of reduction in gearbox, the speed, the practise of truckdriver (operator), etc. I put extra reduction 1:8 to drive set. So in 3th gear full speed it runs max 2km/hr. So in 1st gear, it crawl, and with a lot of torque!! PERFECT. But that is eveyone his own setup to make. :-)

I’m in South Africa and wanted to find out if there’s an online store I can buy any of the products in the video especially the Scania in the beginning of the video....
Pretty much all of the trucks are produced by Tamiya so just google a online store that delivers to your country.
You can't buy the first truck as the cabin has been completely developed and 3D printed by the owner and then been combined with a Tamiya chassis (you can see a less smooth surface finish, that is also due to it being printed). As of now, Tamiya isn't offering the new gen Scania R/S (hopefully they will in the future).

A small company in Spain make these cab kits of Scania, and other brands. Search for 'xc/raid rally slot' at Facebook. Some different variants. About 350-400 Euro. One have to buy parts for the chassis, axles and so on other places, Tamiya parts.

It is members of local RC clubs that build and drive on these tracks at the fairs. Maybe non members can join, if asking in advance, I don't know. These roads are made from building material, like thin rubber/asphalt sheet on a roll that is used on house roofs and more. It's black colour as new, but after some use turn more grey because of sand and dirt. Like in the lonk below.
