Mad respect for you for talking about mental health. Sadly it's still horribly stigmatized and misunderstood. I've been an anxiety sufferer on and off for 20 years. It's far more under control these days, thankfully. Your videos alone have had an incredible calming effect and for that I am insanely grateful. Choosing to live more simply and avoid a-holes has also helped tremendously.

The town you live in is beautiful. You're able to film junk and trash and make them look beautiful because you live in such a picturesque area (but you also have a skillset to see beauty where most don't). I pray small towns like that don't disappear. Everything is being overbuilt and "progress" is destroying what doesn't need to progress.
It never will here! The Berkshires are thiriving! Please visit! Great Barrington was voted number 1 small town in America by the Smithsonian!

I never thought I would be 55 years old in this life it wasn’t that long ago I was fishing for trout in the smith river in Montana with my grandpa….. now both my grandparents are gone and my father, my son is 28 with his own family and adventures in Hawaii….. time flys so fast that we hardly can know where the past ends and future begins…. Iam glad you understand how important that those moments are and making the most of them, I really enjoy your content and pure unadulterated portrayal of life as it unfolds……
Just a little tip, one of the weeds you guys picked from the front is Garlic Mustard! While super invasive, if you pick it before flowers start to form it is quite good in pestos, or even just sautéed. And you don't have to feel bad about pickin/pulling the whole plant because it chokes out native plants so you're doing a favour to the neighbouring (yes i'm canadian, deal with the spelling) native plants!
Not to add one more project to your endless list, but you guys need to write a cookbook. I would LOVE it!

All those stone just free for the picking! I collected filed stone (from farmers field and along the roadsides etc.) for over 20 years for our former 5-acre country property in SW Michigan. I hauled them all myself and used them to line the edges of all of my garden beds. Rocks are a part of the quintennial country flower beds! Over the years there I propagated many native plants, shrubs ornamental grasses like forsythia, quince, hydrangeas, catmints, butterfly plants and many, many more (I miss my gardens!) Many of my plants made their way into my handmade papers and botanical canvas artwork. Many of your "adventures" remind me of those my husband (now age 76 and having health issues) and I took over the years, camping, backpacking, hiking, birding, fishing, kayaking, foraging and much more. Thank you for the memories!

Makes me sentimental. It is ok to dream. It is maybe even necessary! In whatever situation you are in. This half an hour touched me in my own dreams (to live in and work with Nature 🍀). I love this video! I live in Australia and the spring usually gets me down because it's a sign of the heat to come (example, it is only the 2nd week of spring and its 29C which is 84F). Anyway, all that to say, as I drove home yesterday, I was really taking in the beautiful flowering trees, there were pink ones, white ones, purple ones and everything looks so lush and beautiful and alive and healthy. I was reminded of Trout and Coffee to take in and appreciate the beauty of nature in that moment. ☺

Another one of your gorgeous videos. You are pretty amazing, you and your friends, with all you get done, your dreams coming to fruition with, I must say, no fear of hard work. I really appreciate your love of the land, and nature. Your care of it. I live in Ontario, Canada, am 70 years old and my husband and I have done quite a few renos in our time. Also the outdoor playtimes too. We live in the Niagara Escarpment area, which actually runs all the way up from down at the Niagara area of States and Canada through Hamilton, Ontario and up into Georgian Bay. So some of our countryside is a bit like yours though not as much of it. Since the 1970s we've camped all thru the region as well as north of here. Etc, etc. I really appreciate your videos. I'm enjoying the tastes (literally with the ramps and fiddleheads and morels, all things we've had) vicariously. Yum, I could almost smell them. Many blessings to you and your family and friends.
