I actually ordered evo-tech and one from ali and sent evo-tech back yes the evo was nicer quality but I couldn't justify the price difference just paying for a name and for a 20$ bill for same protection and decent looks and enough quality to do the job just as good was a No brainer. Plus you can use the extra money you save for shit that really matters like a Womet total protection package from TST etc
Its to early to say but so far I haven't noticed any issues with heat but the temperature outside here in Sweden is still cold the warmest day so far has been like 18 degrees celcius. I really like the way it look and the quality is awesome.
@@bevo5386 like i said in my earlier comment i dont really notice any diffrence but i live in sweden and its not often that we have 30 degrees celcius here in the summer but so far i havnt had any problems with heat so my guess is just go for it. Just to reflect to one time last summer i took a ride when it was 30 degrees outside and my only problem was my clothes that it was to hot no alarms from the bike that i had a heat issue.
I had the same problem. My solution was to gently rotating the screw without any pressure on the head until I saw a little gap between the screw and the base and when this gap appeared I used a very small screw driver to force it out at the same time I was rotating the screw it was little tricky first but after using this method i manage to take them all out without damage them at all. Good luck if you want to try it again
Maybe but definitely much more exspensive than the one i bought from Aliexpress (China) only cost $14. how much did you buy your Evo tech for?. all i can say is that i think the quality is really good for the money you spend. i am super satisfield with my guard atleast :)
@@dylanhammond9473 you gotta get underneath them somehow and pry out while turning the screw at the same time, good luck and God speed haha I replaced them with push pin types from the auto store..
@@ballzmckgee3167 yeah i just broke the top screw bit off and pushed them through also went to the autostore but got the wrong clips so ill get the right ones from work, made some small scratches around the clips but its all okay

I'm happy to hear that you like the product as much as me. I haven't noticed any difference with the heat either. It's totally worth the money :)

Those Plastic screws are shit. I gave up trying to put this accessory on after stripping the plastic head of one screw.
