Well.. From what I can tell, Samurai Jack here watch a little girls pinweel get stolen by one've those creatures, a crime no young child should have to witness. KNOWING where these creatures came from, Jack set off to slay every creature leaving the portal until he found the one with the Pinwheel!
But before the final blow was struck the creatures tore open a portal in time sending Jack to the future where their evil is law now the foolish samurai must return to the past to undo the evil that is these creatures *Cue theme song*

Man, having played through the entirety of all 3 Rhythm Heaven games, I can say that this samurai is LEGENDARY. Definitely the most epic character in the trilogy

I never beat it sadly. I got all the perfects. But one of the challenges had me stumped, I'll get to it eventually.

I'd like to imagine a scenario where a villager is seeing several lightning bolts strike nearby in rapid succession and they're just like "must be saving another pinwheel"
The story makes sense. The kids were having fun, but then a shadow creature stole their pinwheel. A samarai sees this and goes to recover it from these shadow creatures for the kids.
Samurai: "Surrender the pinwheel at once, beast of the shadow! To steal from a small child is not only punishable, but dishonorable. Even you demons must obey the laws of man. For those who defy the code of honor... There is no tomorrow!"
I like the fact that literally everything about this game was ported to Megamix. INCLUDING the “To be continued...” text at the end. Despite the fact that Samurai Slice 2 wasn’t ported.
Come to think of it, there is an episode of Samurai Jack where he learns to fight blindfolded while relying solely on sound, which is exactly what this minigame is trying to get the player to do

When not dealing with demons for the sake of others, they share stories and laughs, feeling that they don't need a thing so long as they know they've helped others who needed someone strong to fight for them against selfish, greedy forces of the dark.
